We had a seamless closing at Mr Beisswenger’s office in the middle of January. The entire staff, along with Mr Beisswenger were all very knowledgeable and worked diligently to ensure we could close within 10 days. I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

I had a really great experience working with Tom and his team. We ran in to a few tricky issues related to my purchase and Tom helped me navigate them with confidence. His staff, Kristen and Martha were super to work with too. I would definitely recommend these good folks to anyone looking for an attorney to help with a real estate transaction.

Suddenly in need of a divorce lawyer after over 25 years of marriage is not a position I ever wanted to find myself in. Luckily I found David. I was not at all sure what my expectations should be heading in to the divorce but he explained to me what he considered to be a fair and equitable result and despite some unexpected obstacles he was able to deliver that result. It was very important to me that the divorce be amicable if at all possible. David was sensitive to that as well being mindful of my limited finances. I'm very pleased with how he handled my case from start to finish.

Tom always does great closings with my clients. His office is my go to real estate attorney for all my reap estate closings. Hos wonderful assistant Kristen always keeps everything on track.

Attorney Thomson was extremely knowledgeable, during our consultation he already had a plan and laid out his proactive approach. He did a great job of easing my emotions and prepared me for the hearing. David always responded to my questions and concerns. Even throughout the entire process of preparing for the hearing he always had a positive attitude and never once did I feel like we were not going to attain what we were seeking. I highly recommend him.

We did not choose this legal office and would not use again. The attorney was very unprofessional and pretentious. Tossed papers across the table and was not very welcoming at all. I’ve purchased 4 homes previously and this was definitely an anomaly in how I’ve ever been treated. The office staff was also rude and pulled the realtor away instead of letting her walk out with us or saying have a good day or anything. We had movers waiting and this law office was not punctual either. Not impressed. Everyone there needs to get over themselves. Learn to treat the ceo of a company and the custodian the same is my advice. Rudest place I’ve encountered in Athens, GA thus far!

Please do not give your business to this law office. When we closed on our house last year, the lawyer who worked with us was absolutely rude, disrespectful, and literally threw our papers at us. I regret employing this law office for closing. I closed on a new home today with a different lawyer and it was a world of a difference! There are definitely better lawyers out there who will treat their clients with respect so take your business elsewhere!

The story of my divorce would make a great Lifetime Movie. Despite all of the twists and turns, I remained steadfast in my top priority, the safety and well-being of my child. For me the choice was clear, either I would find an attorney who could help me obtain sole custody or I would remain in a terrible situation in order to provide my child with the protection that was necessary. David Thomson was the third attorney that I interviewed for the job. The first attorney only offered a cookie cutter approach telling me, "This is just the way it is. There's nothing you can do about it." With the second, I spent the majority of my time with his paralegal. From day one, David was hands-on and sensitive to my priorities. He also gave me something the previous two had not...hope. Not unrealistic expectations but hope. David is a class act and well respected in his field which was an advantage when interacting with opposing counsel and our assigned judge. His lengthy experience also means that he knows the playbook of other attorneys in the area and can prepare his clients accordingly. I feel like he respected my input, had my best interests at heart and treated me fairly in terms of his fee. David and I worked as a team and were successful in achieving my desired outcome. I am forever grateful for his help and expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone I know.

I am a mortgage lender and have worked with Tom and his staff for over 4 years now on closings. Not only is he one of the lowest cost attorneys in the area, but he also does a PHENOMENAL job. His team is responsive with our closing department, and he handles any hiccup with calmness. There are many times Tom calls me personally to discuss details of a transaction directly. As a lender that is HUGE. If I was a client, agent, or lender I would 100% rely on Tom and his team any day.
