Your firm should be deeply concerned about how Andrea Pawlak is representing family law. Her conduct in court and handling of negotiations is not only unprofessional but also indicative of a lack of understanding of the law and its purpose in protecting the well-being of children. Ms. Pawlak appears to have no strategy, no expert guidance, and no ability to negotiate effectively. Her approach, including repeatedly asking the other side for an offer, demonstrates an alarming lack of initiative. Most recently, she suggested that the opposing party agree blindly to terms without even knowing what they entail—an unreasonable and irresponsible position, especially when it concerns a child’s welfare. Her client, a manipulative and abusive individual, already agreed to 50/50 custody but later reneged without explanation, despite the mother having cared for the child over the summer and even traveling with them. Ms. Pawlak seems unable or unwilling to hold her client accountable for this behavior, instead allowing him to dictate terms at the expense of the child’s mental health and stability. While efforts have been made to propose additional parenting time for Kendra, these fall far short of equitable or reasonable, leaving the child’s best interests ignored. This lack of concern for the child’s well-being is both astonishing and deeply disappointing.
