Casey is on the Case Dealing with legal problems will always be a headache no matter what. It can be a constant emotional roller coaster with or without an attorney. There is no button you can press to make it easy. BUT, with Peach State Lawyers, specifically Casey Cleaver, you feel like there is a light at the end of the long arduous tunnel. In the course of dealing with my situation I had one child and got pregnant with my second. It was a long process, but each and every step I had Casey there to make me feel a little less lost. To say Casey is thorough is an understatement. Let me break it down for you: Casey was handed my case pretty early on, he learned the name I prefer and never forgot. He asked me about my (1st and 2nd) pregnancy during every call. Casey made sure that my drivers license was safe, spoke to every important person, and eventually helped me to get my charges reduced without trial, but we were ready for trial. He even pointed me in the right direction to get my community service and risk reduction course done before my court date. Make no mistake, there is work you must do as a client, you made your mistakes and must handle them, but with Peach State, you are not alone. When I called around in search of an attorney, most wanted full upfront payment, which is not an easy thing. Peach State kindly allows you to make monthly payments, and when you’re done, they have your back through it all. By the end, I would like to think Casey became a friend! Dare I say I enjoyed my time taking with him. Every-time I called in, I felt heard, and supported, and NOT ONCE judged. I was arrested in Fulton County, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute, Tampering with Evidence and Improper Lane Change and spent two days in County where I was treated like a worthless dirt bag. The cops and the judicial system didn’t care about me in any way. I felt like all they wanted was to keep me locked up, feed me the cheapest food and only give me water when it was convenient. Dogs in kennel are given better treatment and I knew the only thing the system cared about was to keep me behind bars because the more prisoners behind bars the more money for them. In their eyes I wasn’t innocent till proven guilty, I was guilty and treated like an animal. I was gonna spend a whole lot of time behind bars if I tried to fight the system alone. As soon as I contacted the offices of Scott Smith I felt like I was finally able to breathe. They spoke to me with respect and listened to my side of the story. Suddenly, I felt like I had rights again and right away I was given a plan of action and resources to help me deal with my situation. Every time I had a question, Caitlin who handles the front desk, responded quickly and kindly. On the day of my arraignment I watched as person after person was treated like a chore by the guards, the DA, the entire court. The day looked grim watching so many peoples’ futures being carelessly handled without respect for the person. The court called for recess, while I waited outside, stressing. At that point Casey came to me with a smile and said, “You ready for some good news?” I hesitated because no one in that court room had been given good news all day. So he rephrased, “You ready for some really good news?” Without me having to say a word, Casey was able to get me into a 13 week program that involved one class a week and 40 hours community service! All charges dropped!!!! Without a good attorney, I am certain I’d be behind bars for a long time. I want to thank Scott Smith, Casey Cleaver and everyone at Peach State Lawyers for going to battle for me. They gave me my rights, my freedom but most importantly, they gave me my dignity back. I give them FIVE STARS and Highly Recommend!

Mr. Cleaver, Was assigned to my case and despite being under the weather he managed my case like a seasoned veteran with the utmost prudence ensuring no red flags were raised. He did his due diligence and continues to go far and beyond for me. A true asset to Scott Smith's firm, I can't think of anyone better to handle my case.
