Going through a divorce is extremely personal. Trying to find the right attorney is draining. I had a consultation with four attorneys and was fed everything from ‘a divorce will only cost $500 to we believe in a happy ever after divorce’. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted. My last call before trying to just do everything myself was with Dante at ATL Family Law Group. Dante gave me the truth about the entire process, the projected cost, who my attorney would be and their background / workload. Dante gave me all the information I needed and requested with such transparency that I made the decision to choose ATL Family Law Group that same day. My attorney was Mr. Robert Miller and paralegal LaJayla Parker and they were the best each step of the way. LaJayla kept all my information and documents organized and kept me informed with what was needed from me and what step was next. Robert fought for me and my daughter every single step of the process and I’m forever grateful. Robert is straight forward and sugar codes nothing and that’s what you need during this process. Robert hands down was the best attorney for me! My divorce process took the entire 2021 year from January to December. This was only due to the person I was divorcing. Through last year I’m pretty sure I got to know mostly everyone who works at ATL Family Law Group. From Estere, Kai, Tai, and everyone. Every interaction was professional and kind and I thank you all.

My experience with Walker was absolutely the worst, horrifying to be honest. He would reprimand me on the phone for asking questions or making remarks that were true. He never once called or texted with any news on my sons case. I would have given him zero if I could. Whoever wrote those reviews on his website must have been lucky. We were going through this at the worst time when everything had shut down for Covid. I paid him $17500.00 for absolutely nothing. I pulled this money from my pension to help my son. My son got in trouble and at first he was great with advice. Basically said he was the best thing since sliced bread. As soon as I sent the money, he just started to ignore calls, became arrogant and got upset by us asking questions. At one point it took a month for him to get back, and that was only because my son texted him again. He told my son another attorny called Kate would be working with him and when my son called her, it was always a 2 minute conversation. She even told him they were waiting on prosecutor getting back to them, when in actual fact, they hadn’t even called him. The prosecutor reached out to them by email and crickets. He actually told me he was going to block me and my son, which I think he did, because his voice Mail would come on right away when I called him. He said I’ll block you and meet with your son in court, without a meeting before hand. All we wanted was some sort of communication to put our minds at ease, which we never got. Oh dear, after seeing the response from this company, I feel that I just paid Walker to berate, to be rude and irrational towards me. Any one who knows me, knows I am not a liar. the company's reply seems to say differently. I texted the assistant and asked her if she was going to wing it when she went to court. To say I was constantly being rude, berating, and irrational, is UNTRUE as they would put it. I do not recall CONSTANTLY calling and being rude. To ask a lawyer for some feed back and communication on a case that your son is involved in, is not asking too much after paying an arm and a leg for their services. They had months with very little feed back. I am not angry at my sons legal issues. Everyone makes mistakes. The only thing I am annoyed at, is all the nonsense they have written in their reply. Also saying my son told them not to speak to me about the case or that he is is totally unequivocally satisfied is also UNTRUE. When I wrote this review, my son was no longer a client of theirs. The last time we heard from them was in September 2021. Also they never resolved anything. I'm still scratching my head at the expertise and help statement. I must have missed something. An update: Thanks to the court - appointed lawyer, my son spent no time in jail. I emailed the offices of Lowther and walker a few months back asking for my money and received no response. Wasn’t really a surprise to me. Taking money from people that have worked hard their whole life, not to mention at a time when things were difficult ( Middle of Covid) and doing absolutely nothing to help them. If they even tried to help or been somewhat compassionate I would not be writing this review.

Jess Johnson is honestly nothing short of amazing. If you need high quality, compassionate representation, you would be incredibly hard pressed to find any better.

Attorney Nishit Patel was outstanding. This was an obviously unpleasant experiences; he righted me when i was about to make mistakes that could have been detrimental and guided me to an amicable conclusion (honestly for both parties I hope) Highly recommended.
