I engaged Steve Carley to assist a 91-year old relative of my wife in connection with updating his outdated estate plan, which the relative had been intending to do for several years. The estate plan was complicated by ownership of commercial real estate properties and by the relative having a son unable to manage his own affairs that he wanted to provide for. Steve efficiently developed an estate plan involving a trust for the benefit of the son and prepared the appropriate instruments, including a Georgia Advance Directive for Healthcare and a Financial Power of Attorney.
