I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and negligent service I have received from Stern Law Firm. If I could give zero stars, I would. Over the course of my case, Stern Law Firm has completely failed to fulfill its most basic duty: showing up for their client. They have missed the last five court hearings without any explanation or prior notice. This repeated absence has left me unrepresented in crucial moments, putting my case at serious risk and causing unnecessary delays. It is shocking that a law firm could be so careless with matters as important as someone’s legal rights. I have attempted multiple times to get an explanation, but their communication is almost nonexistent. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and when I finally get a response, it’s vague and unhelpful. The lack of accountability from this firm is appalling. I trusted Stern Law Firm with a serious legal matter, expecting professional and reliable representation. Instead, I’ve been left feeling abandoned, stressed, and taken advantage of. Their neglect has not only harmed my case but also caused significant emotional and financial strain. I strongly advise anyone considering Stern Law Firm to look elsewhere for legal representation. No client deserves to be treated with such disregard. I am currently exploring options to file a formal complaint with the state bar for their gross negligence. Avoid Stern Law Firm if you want a law firm that actually shows up for you—both in court and as a professional advocate for your legal rights.

Great experience with Stern Law! From the start, they were thorough and communicated every step clearly. My attorney was dedicated and kept me informed, making the entire process much easier. Highly recommend them for their professionalism and support!

I hired this attorney because of my search on the Google Ads. The hired date was August 8th, then, I canceled them due to their poor service. In order to cancel, they mandated me to have a call meeting with attorney. Once that call was conducted, the cancellation date was August 23, 2024. The office stated it will take 30 days for the refund to happen. It’s Sept 23 (a month later) and the office staff keeps telling me that it will be next week, next week and next week until their “billing department” decides to give me an answer. it takes a lot to come up with this money. Initially, I gave the money upfront. So now , I expect the same reciprocal. I’ll be here waiting on this refund. Writing this on behalf of my husband. In summary, we do not recommend as very bad communication (or the lack of it actually) and professionalism were experienced setting a very bad first impression, and this was just in trying to get through the first consultation. Zero respect for people’s time. Definitely didn’t feel we could even trust this place with our case when we couldn’t even receive the scheduled consultation appropriately. Background: My husband contacted Stern Law earlier this week and was scheduled for his first consultation with attorney on the phone for Thursday, 8/21/24, which he was advised would be 20-30 minutes and was free as described in their website as this is his first call. We reside in California and rearranged work and responsibilities to be ready for scheduled time. After 6-7 minutes of not receiving scheduled call, my husband called and was greeted by a very apologetic gentleman stating attorney had an emergency and did not go to office for the day and he was eventually planning to call my husband to reschedule time with attorney for following day (yet, it’s at least 10 minutes past scheduled time at this point with zero communication, close to end of business day East coast time, and only finding out because my husband called in saying I’m sitting here waiting on my consultation call). My husband decided to give them a chance, rescheduled for today 8/22/24 as offered and was told to go ahead and email his background check file in for attorney to review before call. So here we are again, re-adjusting work and responsibilities to finally receive the call on time this morning, 8/22/24. To our surprise the lady calling in states, “I am calling you to schedule your appointment.” We were livid now. So apparently sounds like my husband called to schedule a consultation, was scheduled for a consultation, received a no show from attorney, was rescheduled for a consultation and finally receives a call to be told “This was just an appointment to schedule your appointment.” How can anyone possibly trust a place like this?!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LAWYER ELIZABETH. Do not give her your money. She gives nothing but false hopes and promises when she knows the law is not on your side. She said her client could get a voluntary removal when the client was an arriving alien and it’s COMMON KNOWLEDGE that those charged as arriving aliens do not qualify for voluntary removal. We wasted so much time and money with her just for the client to sit 8 months and still get deported. Also Elizabeth showed up more than once unprepared. She had not reviewed documents or anything, further wasting time. She also did not communicate well. She was injured during the case and did not communicate that but instead sent someone else to the hearing who was unprepared. I am so disgusted with the experience I had with Elizabeth and stern law

A great team of knowledgeable people! They are very responsive and respectful about one’s needs. If you need a lawyer don’t hesitate to contact them!

Money hungry attorneys. Would not recommend

Una firma de abogados poco profesionales y lo digo en mi caso en particular. Me comunique con ellos hace algo mas de dos años para averiguar los honorarios y para ese tiempo me pidieron $900 por una cita a traves de una videollamada y me parecio un precio muy alto por solo una cita y decidi no hacerlo. Bien, despues de ese dia recibia llamadas de esa oficina para ver si me decidia el que tomasen mi caso y les dije que ya tenia un abogado trabajando en mi caso y habia adelantado algo pero que el mismo me habia dicho que esperaramos un tiempo antes de continuar. Me impaciente con el abogado y me llamaron de nuevo Stern Law y me dijeron que tenian un especial y que ya no me costaria $900 sino menos por la cita con videollamada, decidi hacerlo puesto que me dijeron ser especialistas en casos como el mio. En el mes de marzo tuve la videollamada con la abogada Elizabeth por un periodo mas o menos de unos 25 minutos y ella me pidio que le enviara ciertos documentos extras para analizar bien el caso y que entonces tendriamos otra videollamada de nuevo para ya discutir bien al respecto. Al siguiente dia les envie los documentos por entrega inmediata y fue recibido en dicha oficina el dia 14 de marzo, pasaron dos semanas y no me llamaban, decidi entonces llarmar para saber que pasaba y me quedaron de llamar.........., pasaron otras dos semanas y nada. De nuevo llame y me dijeron que se comunicarian conmigo cosa que no sucedio. Tres semanas pasaron y volvi a llamar para manifestar mi molestia por tan poco profesionalismo, entonces me dieron una cita para la videollamada para una semana despues, bien, el mismo dia de la videollamada me enviaron un correo diciendo que la videollamada habia sido cancelada y no dieron explicacion alguna. Los llame DE NUEVO ayer (Mayo 29) al ver que no me llamaban y me dijeron que alguien se comunicaria conmigo en la tarde, efectivamente me llamaron y me dieron cita para el dia de hoy Mayo 30 a las 9:30 a.m. y esperando me quede. Situacion que ya no me extraño. Bueno, esa fue mi experiencia con esta firma de Stern Law y para nada los recomendaria y les doy una estrella porque no puedo dar menos. Piensen antes de contratar firmas como esta con tan pesima comunicacion con los clientes y a quienes no se les respeta el tiempo. OJO

If you need a good law office to take care of your case, STERN LAW is the best, they work fast and they're very professional they know what they're doing I thank them for the good Job they did for me.

Friendly staffs. Mediocre services. Overpriced in my opinion.

Staffs are friendly. However, they are definitely overpriced. The attorney is also not as knowledgable as I thought she would be.
