Case is on year 3 and my lawyer and his office have done next to nothing. Have had to fax over the exact same paperwork hundreds of times that they misplace and they never have any answers for me. Lazy lawyer who doesn't know much about what he does. Again on year three and my settlement has yet to come through. Do not recommend him at all find someone who is professional knows what they're doing and actually cares about more than how much money they're making. Awful awful awful just want my money this lazy lawyer has held onto for three years now.

Mr. Briggs is a knowledgeable, trustworthy professional. He was my attorney when I fell. He studied every facet of my case and secured a very generous settlement. He was responsive to my needs, kept me informed and provided a positive confidence during the process.

Winston from day 1 listened to all my needs. His up to date technical information kept the opposition on there toes. In my particular case Winston helped me with a Hazmat injury claim. His knowledge on these kind of cases was incredible. He was able to find doctors who deal with these cases and he was able to bring to light things I never knew existed with my injury. His experience in trials, litigations, and injury cases showed that he can handle anything that is thrown his way. I wanted the best, I found the best. You want results he's the man to do it.

I have been fortunate to find (surfing the web) W. Winston Briggs Law Firm to take over my case after almost a year of being with a "highly recommended season" attorney who was unable to serve the defendant, claiming he was "too big to be served," here in Atlanta? Attorney Briggs accepted my case, within a month the defendant was served, and less than a year my case was settled. To him I am indebted for his enthusiastic, encouragement and support he and his staff offered throughout the handling of my case. Unlike any other law firm, they continue to keep me in the loop on how my case progressed. I highly recommend Winston Briggs Law Firm to anyone looking for an attorney in Atlanta who cares and have integrity in his work getting the case settled, without a doubt, he's the Best!

I contacted Mr. Briggs concerning my fall on January 29, 1998 as a registered guest , at the Embassy Suites Hotel, New Orleans, LA., as verified by a security officer on duty and upon completion of an incident description statement, signed by the security officer. Upon receiving directions to the restroom, I entered a dimly lighted hallway and proceeded to slip immediately. The marble floor was wet and soapy. The entire hallway was in that condition. There was no yellow caution "wet floor" sign in the hallway. I was told, by the security officer to make a note that there was no warning sign and that was a violation, according to the State of LA. While slipping on the wet marble, I slammed my head into the wall, causing lacerations to my temple, bruised my hand, hip and leg. I twisted my neck and my knee hit the marble floor, causing injury to my knee. Upon arriving back home in Atlanta, I contacted the Emory Clinic and contacted Dr. Lewis E. Green. He found multiple contusions, neck strain, knee bruised and swollen. I also contacted Dr. Michael R. Johnson and a knee X-ray was taken. I was still having pain and discomfort. I made an appointment for an MRI, at the Gwinnett Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center with Dr. Paul F.Richin. The diagnosis was an MMT. I had two tears in my right knee. The surgery was scheduled for July 7th,1998 at the Dekalb Medical Center, Decatur, Georgia.Dr. Richin stated that I have a 5% permanent disability resulting from the injury to my knee Mr.W Winston Briggs represented me and attempted to work with Mr. Randy Rosenberg, Senior Claims Representative, Kemper Insurance Companies, Metairie, Louisiana amicably in order to resolve my case. Mr. Briggs supplied Mr. Rosenberg with all the information he requested to evaluate my claim, including names and telephone number of persons who could possibly testify. I had approximately $9,000 of outstanding bills and it was now time to wrap up this matter. Mr. W Winston Briggs took charge in the professional manner that was expected of him. He laid out the facts of the case, provided names and telephone numbers of the witnesses, provided name of the orthopedic surgeon and his acknowledgement of a permanent disability. Mr. Briggs made a settlement offer, set a time table and he resolved the case with a generous settlement. I would highly recommend Mr. W Winston Briggs. I was a pleasure having him represent me. He is not only a highly respected lawyer but a wonderful family man.
