I came to Peter with a difficult case involving a dispute with former business partners who were reaping the benefits of my hard work without compensating me at all, despite my my significant ownership of corporate stock. It was an emotional deal for me, but Peter kept me focused on what was important to getting what I was due. He was able to do this with compassion and I never felt bullied into accepting his suggestions. Additionally, he listened to my suggestions as well. He was never arrogant or condescending. As I mentioned, my case was somewhat complex, but Peter immediately zoomed in on the legal weaknesses of my former partners and formulated an excellent strategy to force them to settle the case by buying out my stock. He educated me well on the law behind our case. This was fortunate, as it allowed me to recognize actions taken by the other shareholders that would strengthen our case, and provided us with great ammunition. We ended up forcing the other shareholders to do the right thing and buy out my shares, despite many legal maneuvers on their part. I always felt that Peter was diligently watching my back. I honestly felt that he understood the situation and was as indignant towards my ex-partners' unethical behavior as I was. Peter Hasbrouck has my unconditional support and endorsement. I know that handing out an excellent rating on all five categories may seem excessive, but in my case, he earned every star.
