Troy did a great job helping me during a real estate transaction. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He also was accessible and if I had any questions, he quickly responded to them. He also followed up regarding any requests made to the other attorneys involved in the transaction to ensure that they remained prompt. I highly recommend Troy for all of your legal needs!

I work with Troy Refuge on two issues. The first is still not complete and I have to continually ask him for updates instead of him taking the initiative to see it through to the end. The second issue he provided me with no value. He was supposed to review a lease and integrate terms from another document into the lease and provide me a draft redlined copy that I could provide to a commercial landlord. Instead, he provided me some notes on a new document. I assume they were good notes but my real estate agent would not touch them. He said it's a legal document, which is why I hired a LAWYER to make the changes. I tried to explain this to Troy and was willing to pay extra for him to do the job correctly. I called to offer feedback on the service i had been receiving and before I could do so, he started off by being defensive and said he does not need the money and does not have to work with me. This attorney possibly knows his field but in the end, I hire an attorney to make my life easier and to provide me with sensible advice and options, not to robotically do things that are not really valuable. Hopefully he can learn to take feedback in the future and improve his practice.
