It became evident from the outset that this lawyer's primary concern was money, not the well-being of their clients. Throughout the entire process, I felt like I was just another source of income rather than a person in need of assistance.
Not only was the communication lacking, but it seemed that every decision made was based on what would bring in the most profit for the lawyer, rather than what was best for me as the client. There was a distinct lack of empathy and understanding of my situation, and it was clear that their only motivation was to maximize their fees. The young girl that runs the front desk is very sweet but extremely inexperienced. If you’re a firm representing high conflict cases , you need someone at the front just as knowledgeable and ORGANIZED.
In court, their lackluster performance was evident. It was apparent that they had not put in the effort to adequately represent me, and it felt like they were more interested in rushing through the proceedings to move on to the next paying client. Their lack of dedication and genuine interest in my case was truly disheartening.
I strongly advise anyone in need of legal assistance to steer clear of this firm. Their focus on financial gain over the well-being of their clients is unacceptable and reflects a severe lack of professional ethics.

She will take your money then have the audacity to come after you seven months later since her clientele is poor, making up fake deductions, requesting for you to pay her more. After she failed to represent you. I sat on my computer for two hours, uploading pictures of my child, and she didn’t use one. The other party provided pictures since she failed to provide all the documentation I provided I had the judge a Fulton in County viewing my Instagram story days after the hearing due to her negligence.
I honestly don’t see how she has not been sued for malpractice.
Her husband is a judge in cobb county and uses her husbands title to gain clientele. An attorney’s duty is to use such skill, prudence, and diligence as lawyers of ordinary skill and capacity commonly possess and exercise in the performance of tasks which they undertake…. An attorney is not bound to extraordinary diligence. He / She is bound to reasonable skill and diligence, and the skill has reference to the character of the business he undertakes to do.
She threw my case together the day before my hearing also told me I was gonna lose custody the day before aka “preparing me”
failed to have the knowledge of certain things she should have she willingly allow me to walk into court knowing I was going to lose custody of my child to gain some money: the loss was the result of this lawyer’s action or inaction.
I do not recommend using her as a lawyer ,if you go to search for Google reviews, nothing comes up except for this platform with only three reviews. This whole law firm is extremely narcissistic. Her assistant was extremely rude as well. They act like they’re sh*t doesn’t stink and don’t know what they’re doing.. but are quick to tell you what you want to hear to get your money. I’m convinced majority of these reviews are fake.
The binder documentation she had was a bunch of nonsense of repeat copies
She failed to use any of the documentation I provided that would help my case I should’ve represented myself

Katie K Leonard represented me when my pilot- husband abandoned our family. She is exceptional on every level. She does not waste your money, is a straight shooter, and she will fight for your rights if you have been mistreated. I frequently say that her closing arguments on my case should have been recorded to use as teaching material in law schools. Compared to my ex-husband's attorney, she hit it out of the ballpark. She was prepared, detailed, specific, and extremely tough. She didn't waste time with irrelevant questions and she clearly "knew her stuff." I was ignorant of the whole process and a total basket case when my husband left my daughter and me. She prepped me well for what would take place in the courtroom, and she tolerated my meltdowns with ease and grace during the time leading up to the court date. I cannot say enough about her and her firm. They are wonderful in every way.

I lived nearly 50 years without needing an attorney, but sometimes, despite your best efforts to live life peaceably, you end up in a legal battle. Early one Saturday morning a deputy sheriff rang our doorbell, and my minor daughter was “served” papers to legitimate her newborn daughter, change her last name, and get joint custody. We needed an attorney. The best advice I have ever received was to call Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle. Based on our case and needs, they set us up to meet with Katie Kiihnl. My daughter and I went into that meeting in a state of panic. In less than an hour, Katie had eased our fears and established a plan to protect us. We didn’t understand all that was happening or that needed to happen, but we rested easy knowing that Katie knew exactly what to do and that she had everything under control. The custody case was very contentious, and Katie was there every step of the way to answer our questions, give us advise, and intercede as needed to protect my daughter and granddaughter.
Our case went to trial. Katie is a master in the courtroom, and every time she came into the courtroom on our behalf, she was fully prepared. In addition to her knowledge of the applicable laws, Katie expertly researched and applied case law to support our pleadings. We contended that the father did not meet the criteria to legitimate the baby, but the courts routinely granted every father’s petition to legitimate, as well as his request to change his baby’s last name to his own. It was unheard of in our county for a legitimation petition to be denied. We were seeking an impossible judgment, but our pleadings were rooted in our desire to protect my granddaughter. Katie had her work cut out for her, and she boldly embraced the challenge. She was honest with us about the odds, but she understood our concerns and stepped into the gap on our behalf.
My daughter had to testify, and she was afraid to face the father and his family in the courtroom. I can’t even find the words to express how wonderful Katie was to my daughter and how well she prepared her for trial. With truth on her side and Wonder Woman, Katie, as her lawyer, my daughter faced her fears and testified. The judge signed Katie's order and parenting plan giving us EVERYTHING we asked for. The judge denied the legitimation, denied the name change, gave my daughter sole legal and sole physical custody, and ordered parenting time as presented in our parenting plan. It is an epic judgment obtained by the Grace of God at the hands of Katie Kiihnl.
Everything about working with Katie was positive. She is an absolute delight, she genuinely cares about us, she is funny and engaging, and she is a CONSUMATE PROFESSIONAL. Katie has a top notch paralegal, Heather Bennett. Whenever we tried to contact Katie and she was in court or otherwise unavailable, Heather responded to help us. They are an amazing team, and we felt completely comfortable in their care.

Katie is amazing. I was stressed and worried on the verge of a breakdown going into her office, coming out I was smiling and completely relieved. She knows exactly what she's doing and how to do it. I can't imagine that anyone else would have been able to do for me what she did. She got me everything I wanted. I was able to trust in her completely throughout the entire process. She is a firecracker in the courtroom. I plan to keep her close by for any future legal needs, but also as a friend. Katie genuinely cares about her clients as people, not just a way of making money. Shes a beautiful person inside and out and is amazing at what she does!

The divorce process can be a very tough road to travel and most of us really don't want to go down this path. But, if the decision has been made and it has to be done you are going to need an Attorney that knows the process and quite frankly comes with the attitude of "I've seen this/that before". Why is this so important, divorce is wrought with emotions and having someone who can help you discern the best course of action for you minus the emotions is key. Katie's ability to walk you through the process step by step and help you navigate the "I don't knows" is a amazing. I highly recommend Katie to anyone that is considering a divorce. She will provide you with excellent service.
