I am so happy I found Doug Davis. As co-counsel in a very difficult and contentious case, Doug gave great legal input and advice throughout, along with personal care and compassion that really helped me in a difficult time. Doug is tough, smart, and knowledgeable, with a wealth of experience that will get you a very fair settlement. Almost impossibly, he helped get us to "us" in a mediated outcome that is fair to both parties. I cannot recommend him highly enough. As a person and a professional he is second to none.

I signed documents saying I would not give details of this situation I found myself in, so without going into detail all I can tell you is I spoke with several Law firms before I spoke with Doug Davis. I was terribly upset and could not believe what was happening!!! Doug Davis was the only lawyer who Calmed me down made me think of what was going on he open my eyes to so many things I should do and things He could do to help me through the situation legally! So much I would have never thought of and no other Law frim or lawyer brought to me! I was so angry and upset I do not know what I would have done without Doug and his team! I had one chance to win custody of my daughter, and needed to choose my attorney wisely. I knew that after consulting with Mr. Davis, I would be hiring the most powerful weapon in Atlanta. Her future and wellbeing were placed in his hands on that day, and Doug did not disappoint. He sincerely matched my passion for protecting her and making sure that she would no longer be used as a financial pawn in my divorce. I did not know of him prior to my custody battle, and only wished that I had used him for the actual divorce case....it would have saved me so much heartache, time and money. Doug Davis is all about being a lawyer. I am convinced he truly enjoys helping people through the tangled web of our law system. My name is Robert P Rice and Doug Davis represented me in a case against Yvonne F. Wright in the Dekalb County Magistrate Court. I hired Doug Davis after a terrible car accident in November 2014. I attempted to settle the case amicably with the at fault driver's insurance company but I kept getting jerked around. Finally, I had to resort to hiring an attorney. I was expecting the attorneys office to advise me to simply settle the case but to my satisfaction this case went all the way to trial and I got a judgment against the defendant in my favor. Mr. Davis made the insurance company's lawyer look weak and impotent during trial. I received regular updates from the attorney's office on the progress of my case and never had any problems when asking questions or for help about what they needed from me, billing, etc. Elizabeth and Cindy were patient, courteous, and just terrific to deal with. I could not be happier with the outcome of my case and Mr. Davis has been practicing law longer than I have been alive. I am very satisfied.

He was overly aggressive, recklessly litigious and his "advise" ended up costing me my case. Do not use for divorce for sure!

Absolutely horrible. He was unprepared and took way too long to review. In the arena of pension and alimony he's miserable. His case load .... or whatever it was, prevented him from properly representing me and understanding my pension issues. I had to stand in court and represent myself basically... because this man was so ill prepared. DO NOT invest your time or money in this man for anything related to divorce.

Doug Davis was unprepared for my court date and tried to argue an issue that could not be tried in the court. The judge told him to go to a different court and that he should know better.
