When my back injury occurred workers comp did not even cross my mind. Very quickly I found out how Corporate America can work and how quickly things can change. After my injury I was basically on my own. I worked for a company that did not guide me through the process. The only call I got was from a district manager who told me you must deal with workers comp from here. I never talked to anyone again from there. Workers comp began pressing down on me to settle right away. The case manager told me several times not to worry about a lawyer. I would be wasting my time and money, they could handle everything. I knew it was time to get a lawyer, My girlfriend and I sent a blast email to everyone we knew or worked with in the Carrollton area. We read through the 20 plus emails we received back. It was an easy decision from there. Jason took the win by a landslide. Nothing but positive results. It is mentally and physically exhausting. I want to thank Jason, Tina and the team of people that touched my case. After being fed up with the VA claims process, I did extensive research and found attorney. Words cannot express the level of expertise, knowledge and ability that Travis Studdard possesses. The intake process was very lengthy and thorough (which told me these were the right folks for the job). We took our time, gathered all the relevant evidence, statements etc... and submitted my claim January 1, 2017. My QTC exams were in the beginning of March and by the end of that same month I had my decision rendered. The VA found in our favor, in every aspect we filed for, increasing my rating to 100%!
