I don't recommend black single father's go here. I sat in this lawyer office and watch this lady lie straight in my brother face. Telling him he has a good case in his side. But she did the total opposite.only thing she did was take money from him. And tried again once he caught up to her B's. So black single father's with good paying jobs and take care of your kids and trying to receive custody. Plz save your coins and do not go here plz. I'm looking out for a strong hard working single black father's in my community. She's a woman so she stand on that. But at the same time she just working for the check. Not for the people best at heart.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Rob and his team! I recently went through a divorce that was very complicated and involved the Military and another law firm in Virginia. It wont let me do zero stars. but... zero stars. I hired a lawyer to defend me in a contempt case from this firm. The lawyer did not seem to care about my issue. It seemed as though they didn't read my emails. They appeared arrogant as if they assumed it would be an easy case despite me telling them that the opposition would bring up anything they could. At the hearing I sat defenseless as the plantiff and thier counsel presented a mountain of evidence. My counsel didn't ask for an extention or a reccess or anything to review the evidence the opposition brought (this may be because it wouldnt have been allowed). My counsel submitted nothing as evidence. I asked why their evidence wasn't in the discovery they sent and my counsel told me: "if it's public domain they do not need to provide it in discovery." Not a great thing to find out as I'm being lied on in court. When I brought up that the opposition was misleading the court on multiple occassions my counsel shushed me. When I was on the stand my counsel did not ask anything that seemed to help, I believe this to be because of a lack of knowlege about my parenting plan and of the federal regulations regarding the matter being discussed. After being found in contempt for something that I was well with in my right to fight, I was ordered to pay the plantiffs legal fees, almost $8k. After we left the court house my counsel said "well that could have gone worse." No I'm not sure it could have. If I had not even showed up to court it would have been almost the same outcome. After that my counsel didn't respond to my emails with any kind of immediacy. For months I asked what was going on, they told me nothing had been filed. I asked them to withdraw from my case. I retained new counsel. My new counsel immediately showed me all sorts of things that opposing counsel had filed with the court. My new counsel filed a motion to reconsider. But once found guilty of contempt the judge was unwilling to hear anything in our motion to reconsider about overturning his original decision. One of the worst experiences of my entire life. The effects of which will be felt for years to come.
