First i am thankful the good lord has blessed me with patience. In the 3 years that I have attempted to work with Mr. Strauss I have been able to speak with him twice. Once, when i seen him at the court house and the second time when i reported him to the state bar for lack of communication(He called me the next day). I emailed and called to many times to keep count. 5/1/2024 I received a email that stated notice of intent to withdraw. Mr. Strauss had been paid for his services and my case had a default judgement. I have no idea why he is withdrawing, and the problem is, is he does not communicate at all. It is a frustrating process to deal with the legal system as it is. As a Army veteran I am highly disappointed at the services rendered. Beware should you choose to use his services. I thought that my case would be easy. I hired Me Straus to handle my divorce. There was no action in my case until I called several times and made an appointment to see him. I just had to ask him do you want my case or not because nothing was done. Very bad at communication. I called several times for months and asked for a final bill which was never produced. I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend

Me and my family hired Mr. John Strauss to help us get Guardianship and conservatorship over my elderly mother we furnished him with names and phone numbers of people that could have helped on the case but yet he never contact nobody we even talked to the major of Covington and he even ask us why we hired Mr. John Strauss in which we stated our pockets doesn’t run deep and the Major stated it even sounded like Mr. John Strauss was just taking our money and not doing he job that he was hired to do .. that should say enough when the major wouldn’t even recommend Mr John Strauss … I have 4 kids in which my youngest two kids are special needs they can’t even talk to there grandma now and my youngest daughter has been at Egleston Children’s Hospital since Monday having seizures in which the Doctors hasn’t been able to get under control my Husband and myself has already gave Mr. John Strauss $3,000 and yet I get a email asking for another $450 for what

O... You sound salty. Im pretty sure John didnt do any of that. I know john for years. My family known him. His Dad is a legend in Newton. You lost the case because of whatever you did to get the case. They probs had evidence up the A. I trust john with all my legal problems. Even when i was in Midland Texas. I immediately retain him. Which John help me get into this Drug Court program and Changed my whole life. I went from junkie to hard working caring father. And met my wife because i am drug free and staying focus. Best decisiin i ever made was to call John and Hired him that case.

He was highly recommended by a friend because he had not lost a jury trial in 10 years! He won my case as well.

When you need an attorney and only the best will do this is the man you want to get. He represented me in a Family Court matter many years ago. He is magnificent just as his legendary father was before him.

Good if you wanna plea,but wouldn't recommend going to trial with this attorney. This attorney asked at my suppression hearing that incriminating evidence against me be admitted into trial.He also brought evidence himself into the hearing that incriminate me that caused the case to go to trial. And this attorney sided with the police officer telling the jury on cross examination of the office that "I like officer_______,and I don't like what I'm about to do to him."This attorney wouldn't admit evidence that we had that would have incriminate this same officer! And list goes on! This attorney lost two nonviolent trials in the same week resulting in a life sentence in my case and two life sentences on the other nonviolent case. Pull his trial record!
