Cons
1
Lacks attentiveness and can be unresponsive
“I had to spend 6 hours revising the beginning of the complaint – all he had to do was write the causes of action/Counts and he couldn't even do that. And nearly a year later, Mr. Carlton asked ME to review and revise/mark up the complaint for him as an amended Complaint.”
2
Inconsistent in handling cases
“The inconsistency is true. He will take your money and pretend that he is doing work that you could've done yourself. I'm not sure why he is in practice?”
3
Disinterested and rude in some interactions
“He literally gave me his opinion then hung up on me. Glad I didn't trust them to handle my situation.”
4
May not always fight hard for client's best interests
“He seemed to fawn over the HOA President as such a truthful witness. I was shocked.”
5
Lack of communication and transparency
“We were shocked that our filing was handwritten and not typed. It wasn't even easy to read as I would categorize it as chicken scratch. We had to conduct weekly check-ins to get the status of our landlord-tenant dispute case, which took a year and a half.”
