10 stars. Amazing results, far, far exceeded our expectations. Our HOA's tax situation was a mess, a residual left to us from the developer. Twenty-five tax parcels, all with errors; incorrect appraisals, addresses and names. We owed tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes and liens. It was an overwhelmingly complex jumble. Attorney David Metzger and the WT team successfully negotiated with the county and the developer. Our appraisals were corrected and our tax bills were reduced from $31,000 to $31.00. David secured tax refunds that far exceeded our liens. He also negotiated a positive settlement with the developer for our HOA There are plenty of attorney's who can assist with appraisals, that's easy. Few are the firms who understand how to work with the counties and cities property tax departments to resolve complex issues. Williams Teusink is one these select firms. Do not hesitate.

We are honored to write a positive review for the real estate law firm Williams Teusink and specifically attorney David Metzger. We came to know this law firm at a critical moment in our lives. We were on the verge of losing our home property of 15 years due to a miniscule delinquent property tax amount that had not been paid for many years due to an upcharge by the county based on rising property values. As diligent property owners, we paid our taxes on a regular basis via our mortgage company but inexplicably that upcharge in taxes was missed. Unbeknownst to us, there is a policy that allows the county tax commissioner to sell off unpaid taxes to third party companies who then in turn charge substantial interest to the property owner and if unpaid can lead to the loss of our property. However, with Williams Teusink, that did not happen because their professional prowess. We would have been at the mercy of seedy third party companies and dealing with the bureaucracy of county governments. Real estate transactions can be complex, and it is essential to have a competent attorney to help navigate the legal process. We specifically worked with attorney David Metzger who was our voice on the ground. It was a complex case plus the fact that we are living overseas. We could not be more impressed with David's professionalism, knowledge, expertise and empathy. In fact the whole office was responsive including the associate attorney Imani Redd, the paralegal and the administrative assistant. It was a stressful set of events and their staff treated me with care and support. I received great legal advice from David Meltzger regarding a landlord civil case. Although I do think paying $375 for 1 hour conversation was too high. Overall I am grateful for the advice. He definitely answered all of my questions.
