I was fortunate to have Hill Duvernay represent me. Duvernay technically top-notch, but even more importantly she genuinely cares about her clients and their families. She is tough when needed, but does so with grace. I trust her completely, have the utmost confidence in her abilities and would recommend her for any and all cases.

The lawyer is very pleasant and respectful. I. My experience may not be your experience when I call this Law Firm I let Diego that my insurance would not be taken responsibility for this accident. I asked him if they could still represent me. He said yes, they would get a copy of the police report. And try to get the charges dismissed. My first meeting with the lawyer representing this Law Firm was with a young lady. She came late to the courthouse, she wanted me to fill out a pretrial intervention form. I informed her that I couldn't fill out that form because my insurance was not taking responsibility for this accident. She asked me how do you know the insurance company has to take a responsibility? I said because it's written on the the paper. She said well let's fill it out anyway, she filled it out. I asked the young lady to have Miss Duvernay call me. When Miss Duvernay called me, I said, I had informed you that I my insurance was not taking responsibility for this accident. So I don't know I can't do the pretrial intervention. She said, you didn't inform me because I don't answer the calls. I said well I am from Santiago, she said you mean Diego I said yes maybe we can get it dismissed on the fact that he didn't give you a police report. We're on the same page now I understand. Now before my next court date I called Diego to ask him to describe the person that was coming to meet me if it wasn't going to be Miss Duvernay. He said , well we only work with two other ladies so it would be one of them preview when I got to the courthouse a gentleman call me on the phone asking me where I was located. He said I'm here to pick up the pretrial intervention form. I said okay I'm getting frustrated now I've already told Miss Duvernay is that my insurance is not taking responsibility for this accident. So he went and got a copy of the form, he said I read it I was hoping it didn't indicate that's the insurance had to take responsibility for the accident but it does. Miss Duvernay call me later that evening, she said, I thought you wanted to go ahead with it. I said that I can't do pretrial my insurance is not taking responsibility for the accident. A court date was set and missed, because I wasn't informed of the court date I just happened to check my mail, while checking my mailbox I realize that he got a failure to appear. The first thing I did was to send a message to Miss Duvernay. When she sent me a message back it started off with: "first of all..."The Law Firm did send a lawyer to go fix it. Her name Kristen Clark. I was told to wait for my next court date, the law firm would inform me. I did not believe them so I called for my next court date. They did not show, there were two other court date set they did not show for either one of those court dates. The judge even called the law firm they still miss the court date. It took a Google review Duvernay and the chargeback. She told me she had conflicts in the court should have known about it. There was only one problem she wasn't assigned to my case unless she was Kristen Clark. She did show up the next court date, but during the third Miss court date I was asked, if I wanted a public defender, I said yes. But when Ms Duvernay asked me to give her a chance I said okay since it wasn't her that was supposed to show up. Now I was told signed up with this Law Firm they would get a copy of this police report. But the public defender delivered it to me and I had to take it to the law firm. On the trial date we were supposed to meet at 9:15 because the trial was at 10:00. Miss Duvernay as with every court appearance we made she came at 9:40, I could excuse that but at 9:40 was when she told me all the evidence I had ,was usable. They had the information for a year. My Insurance indicated that they were looking at the cars damages. She did not ask for the pictures. So we went in the court with nothing. I had a diagram of the damage. Miss Duvernay asked, what's that? It was then I realized that nothing I uploaded was looked at.

Provided Exceptional service. Entire staff was professional. Hopefully I don’t need the service again but in the event I do I will certainly return to Hill Duvernay and Associates.

They are the worst. They est 3-6months to get legitimatized and it’s been 3 years spent 40k and had 4 different lawyers from Lunn Law and now they can’t find anyone to take the case for a simple legitimization. All they have is excuses and come to court unprofessional. This has been a long 3 years and a lot of money and the case is still on going with no money back. I have all the proof if anyone says others wise. I can’t get my money back but I will definitely not let anyone else get scammed.

Attorney Duvernay leaves no stone unturned in your case and delivers with accuracy and compassion. I am so blessed that she represented me and I am forever thankful for her expertise ! It was because of her intensity and thoroughness that my case was dismissed and I no longer have to stress about it.

Retained this law firm for a custody issue and initially I thought that I had found "the firm/lawyer". From the intake to the first few conversations I felt that I had not only found a firm that I could trust but someone that understood but little did I know I was making a horrendous financial decision. While I was told from the beginning that my case would take some time the issue did not lie there it was specifically the spending of $21k+ and never stepped foot in a courtroom, nor have any mediation, and simply my situation remains the same . When I would ask questions I was made to feel as if I should not be asking them being that I was told certain things could/could not occur as it related to my case from the beginning. My point to the firm and lawyer(s) is the money that I am spending, and the case is/or was not moving was beyond frustrating. To add wit, when I asked for an agreement to just be typed vice being represented, I was given a quote of $2500 to draft a custody agreement outside of the monies that I had already spent with this firm. Needless, to say I requested that they remove themselves from the case and guess what? Invoices continued to roll in, in which I paid. I received a closure letter from this firm on 07/21/2024 and received an invoice today 07/24/2024 smh. While I cannot take away how they may have helped others that simply did not occur with me. My dealings with this firm has left a bad taste in my mouth as it pertains to lawyers and will most certainly make me think three times about hiring any other lawyer. I cannot and would not recommend this firm to anyone based off what I experienced. **In response to the below** All information that I provided for my case and specifically, my son's mother was accurate! Again understanding that I resided 3+ hours away from the other party was told from the jump while respecting the client attorney privilege I'm not going to go in great detail however, this review was to give my experience and leave a review based off such. As stated you all may have helped others however, my experience was not such. To respond as if it was my fault that I spent the whooping amount with this firm affirms why I feel the way I do. I hope that this review allows others to weigh their options thoroughly and consider all reviews whether positive or negative when choosing legal representation

Candace is an amazing attorney. I kept my child and was awarded a nice sum of child support because of how she fought for me! I have had other attorneys and her professionalism is bar none! I had an impeccable experience.
