Destin was absolutely amazing in giving me legal advice! Most definitely will be using her for my services!

We retained Destin for a crucial legitimation/custody case and paid her $2500 retainer just to get started. She failed to respond to ANY of my emails and failed to follow through with 3 scheduled phone calls. Basically she did nothing. We contacted her for advice when I was summoned for a hearing to take place in 3 business days in Fla where my girlfriend was hiding with my child to determine how she would handle that or if she could not - what we needed to do in the 3 days we had before appearance. Both my mother and I expressed concern and urgency to no avail. We heard NOTHING from her and were forced to terminate her representation and seek another attorney on an urgent basis. We got more help over the phone with a firm we had not retained than we ever got from Ms Gilliam. Now as we are trying to get refunded she still has not replied to a SINGLE email or phone call and it is our intention to report our experience to the bar. DO NOT waste your time with this attorney!

I would like to thank Catherine and the entire staff that represented me in my unfortunate divorce. Being a bit slow with computer skills they guided me extremely well .I highly recommend anyone that needs this type of law firm.

We are grateful for the services provided by Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor. We engaged SMP to adopt our oldest daughter, Bella, who had been under our care for seven years prior to her adoption. We were surprised at the difficulty and cost associated with this process. Nevertheless, we were successful in adopting our oldest daughter. I encourage anyone who seeks to adopt a child to evaluate all of their options critically and fully. Consider carefully who will represent you before a judge.

I was represented by Judy Sartain. She’s a bulldog in the courtroom but very empathetic .
