There is not enough kind words in this world to describe how grateful I am for Chris and how hard he worked to help me. I came to him with a difficult situation and he absolutely got me the best out come. I’m more than grateful for him and Tom Womack continues to work tirelessly to end another case we are working on which has been very hard for me, however I trust them with everything because they have proven absolutely worth it. I recommend them every time.

Chris Conowal represented me in two different situations this year. Chris strongly advocated for me and made me feel like I had someone in my corner that was going to fight for me to get me what I wanted. Chris is transparent, honest, and will not put up with nonsense from the opposing party. If you’re looking for an attorney that will fight and work for you, Chris is your guy!

I feel that Chris takes on more than he should and does not allot the appropriate focus needed in certain matters. Several request I made in working with Chris on 2 cases went completely unanswered, most others I would have to ask for more than once. Several administrative mishaps with both cases ranging from mistakes on documents, misunderstanding of court information by his office, and not being made aware of rate increases between the two cases. A lot of promises were made that were never followed through with. Very unpleasant experience.

If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them to Chris Conowal and Tom Womack. These guys helped end a nightmare for my great niece and her entire family. We just can't thank them enough!!

Mr Conowal is a phenomenal attorney who works in the best interests of his clients. I cannot say enough positive things about him and his staff.

I just contacted a woman who answered the phone and with a terrible attitude. I asked for a person who spoke Spanish and they told me that they didn't have one. I just asked if they could help me with my case but the terrible attitude of the lady who answered discouraged me.

You are treated with such kindness at this office. It is apparent that Mr. Welch is truly compassionate about what he does. Scheduling our adoption was not an easy task due to our son being in the military and he went above and beyond to make it happen. I can't thank him or his staff enough for all that they have done for our family.

Shout out to Mr.Josh Welch he stood bye me through a long child support case and fought for use till a happy end!

We needed to have our wills revised and selected a firm close to our Gainesville home, Stewart Melvin & Frost. Making an appointment was quick and easy, the office is conveniently located by the city square and parking is free. Anna Orkins handled our affairs in a professional, friendly manner. It’s easy to see that she’s focused on client service. The process couldn’t have been smoother and the fee was fair. SMF is an established firm in Hall County but they have none of the stodgy attitude encountered in other partnerships. You will be very pleased if you select them to handle your legal affairs.

My husband and I had procrastinated for years to update our will and estate plans. We met with Anna Orkins, an attorney in the firm. Her expertise in this area of law was excellent. She was very professional and was able to answer the numerous questions we needed to ask. The process was easier than we anticipated. Anna is professional, knowledgeable and made us always feel assured of the decisions we had to make. We would highly recommend Anna and the firm.

Highly recommend Mark Alexander and his team. They were detailed and persistent. They showed respect and concern for my well being while they worked my case. Always answered our questions, kept us informed and gave us options.
