Modification of Child Support to have my Adult Child dropped from the previous court order when divorced, this review is from my husband; Edward. My wife mentioned that Lance came highly recommended from a coworker, I had hired a prior attorney that seemed to double charge me as we had already gone thru 4 paralegals, an unsuccessful mediation and double charges for turning in the same paperwork. My wife reached out to Lance, told him the specifics of the case at that point, what the prior attorney had suggested we do where Lance advised that wasn’t an option, yet gave us an alternative route to pursue. We had a consultation where we had already made up our mind to hire Lance. We fired the first attorney and hired Lance. From that point, it was a game changer. Lance was always available to advise or give direction as to what to do next, even before we retained him. He always kept us informed about what was to happen next. After a few delays (one from the defendants attorney) and two due to COVID, when the final court hearing was approaching the defendants attorney tried to delay again; Lance made it happen. Lance researched my case and found several mistakes made by the defendants attorney, while having knowledge of the case law which I believe led Lance to win my case. Lance and his staff have always been courteous, kind, kept us informed of any changes. Lance and Jenna both are professional, are there for you with any questions you need answered, they make you feel like you have someone in your corner. Lance is a man of his word, he has experience, knows the laws, and will fight for your rights. Lance appeared to control my court hearing, was precise in accuracy concerning the law and with that he won my case and made me feel like I had rights as a human again. Went in for Will creation. Took day off from work for 9am appointment. After waiting nearly 30min, nobody in office. Left vm on office phone. Went to eat across street. Came back 80 min later, office open. Said we where scratched off schedule. Sat through about 90min giving all details wanted in will. Attorney indicated it would take a few days to put together. Never heard back. After a couple weeks, I attempted twice to receive call back. Nothing! The attorney did not have the professionalism or courtesy to reply to follow up phone calls. I must owe for time spent in office?! What’s the bill counselor?
