I would recommend her if you are looking for an attorney who can be compassionate but yet firm.

Probably the worst possible experience I could have expected for my divorce proceedings. I had used merriweather and tharp LLC previously for a small matter one day and they were very responsive and therefore use them for my divorce. Big mistake. I gave my attorneys a budget of all the money I had to work with, and made it very clear that I was on a limited budget. Not once during the divorce did they look out for my financial interest in this way at all, not once did they say that we could review where we are and what we should do in the interest of staying in budget, not once did they offer any suggestions to make the proceedings less expensive. They simply kept working and billing more and more hours without ever addressing the elephant in the room, my budget which ran over by about $50,000. I at least expected to have an attorney that was well prepared but found myself wondering why they seem to be looking to me for some direction in the middle of Court proceedings as if they didn't have arguments well prepared and I should have written my own arguments to help them along. The results of my divorce in the end we're pretty bad, and I will be in debt for years to come because of it. I cannot in good conscience recommend this law firm to anyone. I felt lost in stacks of questionable billing and what seemed to be a standard practice of don't ask don't tell regarding going over the client's budget. If I had gotten a better decision from the judge, it still wouldn't excuse their lack of looking out for my financial best interest by holistically involving the budget with the decision making process of how far to go and what motions to present and how much to fight and how much is actually affordable. Bottom line is I've had a terrible experience and I recommend you go elsewhere.

This is so crazy and I should have read the reviews before hiring this firm. Women please take your time looking for a Atty to represent you. They will take you for your money thousand and thousand of dollars and nothing to show for it. Lack of communication.. Please read the reviews
