I had a deeply frustrating experience with Sell & Melton that left me feeling neglected and stressed. Despite their promises, the firm consistently failed to communicate effectively and follow through on important matters. This resulted in significant delays and a sense of uncertainty during an already challenging time for me. The lack of professionalism and reliability was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone seeking dependable legal assistance.

I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Sell & Melton. From the outset, the firm's communication was severely lacking, with calls and emails often going unanswered for days. When responses did come, they were often terse and uninformative, leaving me feeling neglected and uninformed about the status of my case. The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening. Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.

Do you want an 85 year old attorney whose as sharp as Joe Biden on a "bad day" explaining the economy? Sell & Melton is the firm for you. I called in with a business law issue and was assigned to Chix Miller, whose a Managing Partner. Mr. Miller made sure to consistently remind me that he was working on much more important 18,320,483 dollar insurance underwriting deals than working on my case. When he found out that the opposing council was the son of an attorney he knew, it started to feel a lot like Mr. Miller was more interested in keeping face with the Good Ol' Boy's club than representing his client. Not to worry though, Mr. Miller is as on the ball as ever. His turn around on emails and phone calls is between 7 and 14 days. When we finally closed my case for far less than I would have with a lawyer that was born in the last half of the 1900s, I asked that he ensure the opposing side paid the legal fees that he had quoted me. He did that, and he also doubled the fees that we talked about and charged me the other half. I should have known better when I saw that their letterhead had all the partners names on top and "In Memorium" was written under most of them.

Not an ambulance chasing law firm going after an adoptee On behalf of entitled, selfish, Greedy, paid for paper parents who want to silence the voices of adopted people Because they got their feelings hurt.. Katie Berg was so amazing in going above & beyond to assist my parents in closing the sale of their home. My mom unexpectedly had to go into the hospital for observation the day before their closing. My dad has some memory issues but is cognizant and has a power of attorney. Turned out the POA needed to be updated and Katie went to the hospital with the paperwork to get it in order for their closing today. She saved the day because my parents no longer drive & my dad couldn’t have accomplished it last minute by himself. I live across the country and couldn’t get a flight out last minute to arrive in time to help. Without her willingness to go beyond the call of duty, the closing would have had to be rescheduled. She is a true asset to Mayo Hill and should be recognized for her professional dedication to her clients!
