Overall, I must say the Manely Firm did well. They are quite expensive, but they do a great job of keeping you abreast of your charges. They are knowledgeable and kind, considerate as you are dealing with your legal challenges. I do feel they could have tried just a little more for my behalf, as I initially thought the other party won, but in reflecting, I do believe they helped me out for what was best for me. Had they prolonged the case, it would have caused me more to go to court, as we settled in mediation. So, again, I was impressed and if you need quality lawyers, go here. Just remember they are not cheap.

Hired them to help my husband with legitimation and custody and Jess and Molly seemed to give up after an unsuccessful serving. We tried to ask them about looking into a process server of serving by publication and we got no response. They barely emailed back and never called and we had to always ask for updates and reach out. They charge to talk to you, read emails, have meetings about your case without you. We’ve paid almost 4 grand since August and nothing was ever don’t except the petition of legitimation. Things were supposed to be done and never got done and still got charged for it. We got switched to another attorney and she was better but then she left like a week after. We would ask them what was the game plan for us because nothing has been done and they seemed to not be looking at other options. Fired them and found another lawyer and within 2 weeks of working with him he already got us a court date and have things rolling. He doesn’t charge extra money like this firm did to do his job. Don’t come here because they’ll take your money and not put their heart into anything and drag stuff out. They don’t communicate and don’t even pick up calls. 0 out of 5

Nope. Don’t. $7000 spent and no draft, no court date. They quit when I questioned their billing. Run away fast. Six months. Nothing. Avoid J. Lill at all costs.

I had a very simple task for them to complete. After being severely over charged for their incompetence I’d never recommend their services to people I don’t like.

If you are planning to use this firm, please runaway from this firm. Day light robbery!!!! They might as well put a mask on and rob my bank account. They are dishonest, and do not have your interest. I urge anyone who is considering using this firm to please not do it.

I hired the Manely Firm in June/July for emergency motion for my daughter. I spoke with Michael Manely in my initial consultation. It was wonderful. Yet, that changed when I was assigned to attorney Daesike Shin GA Bar No. 989885. He completely blew through my retainer and extensive fees were accumulated for doing research, asking questions over the phone in which emails/documents were previously provided with those answers. Unfortunately, in less than 3 months I racked up $5000 with ONE court appearance. A year later I receive a Notification of intent to withdraw, confused as to why this wasn’t filled in September 2018, when I informed Daesike, along with providing the Illinois court order that the ruling and case is no longer in Georgia jurisdiction. When I ask, Daesike was very rude, not compassionate, and downright combative to the point of accusing me of being argumentative over the phone. I simply wanted a definitive answer and assurance that the matter is over. I can not say the law firm itself is bad, but I cautiously warn those who are unfortunate to receive Daesike Shin.

There's no words to describe how grateful we are for selecting The Manely Firm to defend us in an international case, I can say they are the best in this matter, period.
