I hired the Manely Firm in June/July for emergency motion for my daughter. I spoke with Michael Manely in my initial consultation. It was wonderful. Yet, that changed when I was assigned to attorney Daesike Shin GA Bar No. 989885. He completely blew through my retainer and extensive fees were accumulated for doing research, asking questions over the phone in which emails/documents were previously provided with those answers. Unfortunately, in less than 3 months I racked up $5000 with ONE court appearance. A year later I receive a Notification of intent to withdraw, confused as to why this wasn’t filled in September 2018, when I informed Daesike, along with providing the Illinois court order that the ruling and case is no longer in Georgia jurisdiction. When I ask, Daesike was very rude, not compassionate, and downright combative to the point of accusing me of being argumentative over the phone. I simply wanted a definitive answer and assurance that the matter is over. I can not say the law firm itself is bad, but I cautiously warn those who are unfortunate to receive Daesike Shin.

There's no words to describe how grateful we are for selecting The Manely Firm to defend us in an international case, I can say they are the best in this matter, period. I have only the highest praise for this firm. They know the law and they left no stone unturned in my case. Because I had a complex International case, I found that the Manely firm were the only attorneys who had the expertise and knowledge of international law to be able to bring my case before the court. I give them a 5-plus star rating because they are in a league above all other attorneys!

I can’t say enough good about this firm I was represented by David Purvis and he picked up where my first attorney dropped the ball and was let go. Mr Purvis was dedicated to doing everything possible and always had my best interest in mind. Divorce is difficult and there were times I wanted to just give in to get it over with but Mr Purvis continued to give support and when it was over I was glad that he was was on my side . Because of him I was able to move forward both financially and emotionally with my life.

I used this firm to help with my divorce and child custody settlement. Jennifer Lowery was my attorney, which I understand isn't affiliated with this practice any longer. She was nice at first until she got my retainer and then she was rude and impatient. She ran my bill up to $21,000 in less than 3 months of service. I couldn't afford to continue to fight for custody and I had to settle at mediation. I hired her mid December of 2014 and the divorce papers were signed toward the end of March 2015. I feel confident that if my case were to go in front of the judge that the end result would have been in my favor, but I couldn't afford to proceed since it had already cost me $21,000 in 3 months. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! I was desperate for help and she made me feel as if she had my back, but when I spoke to her she seemed annoyed with me. I have joint custody of my child and I have to pay child support which is hard for me financially. I feel as though this firm is out for the bottom line. Just tell the client whatever you have to to get money and hook them. I have spent the last 4 years paying off that debt. I am just now independent again. This should have never happened and I think it is malpractice. I'm only giving them one star because I have to or else it won't post. Would be a zero if I could. NEVER use this firm!!!!!
