Extremely frustrating experience with this law office. My father passed and this firm was handling probate details. I needed to sign a couple documents and no longer live local to the office. The documents were emailed to me and I had them notarized and shipped the physical copies back. The documents were received Monday April 29th. On Monday May 6th, Terri Erickson emailed saying she sent the wrong documents and I would need to go through the process again. Ok, mistakes happen. She provided a new document for me to sign. I went to have the new document signed and she made a mistake on my name. The notary would not notarize the document. Another wasted trip. The lack of attention to details is surprising. I would highly recommend looking for a different law office. The attorney Terri works for is Leslee Hungerford.

I would highly recommend Susan Heikkila! She assisted me with an issue that related to my settled divorce. Uncooperative spouses can be very distressing especially when there is a signed divorce decree. Susan was extremely diligent and reassuring. She is very good at holding both opposing counsel and their client accountable. I'm grateful for the efforts and time she put forth to solve this issue.

She dug right in with setting proper expectations, discussed strategy and the law, and she recommended a course of action based on my unique circumstance. Leslie has represented our family in two different co-parenting conflicts. The first was a contested parenting plan modification and the second time she defended me against a contempt charge. In the first proceeding, she got me more time with my daughter and many other small parenting plan changes that have made a huge positive impact in our family. This was no easy feat as this happened during COVID and everything took longer and was more difficult than it should have been. Leslie also represented me during the day and a half mediation that this deal required and we avoided having to go to court. She fought so hard for us and was responsive and encouraging to us the whole way. The second time she represented me, I was defending myself against a contempt charge. We won that case and I could not have been more impressed with the case she made for me. She was calm and collected, professional, and prepared. In the months leading up, she went over every option and possible path forward, always mindful of how best to keep our costs low. Unfortunately, we will likely find ourselves in need of her service in the future and there is no question that she would be our first choice. Leslie is the best!

We all know that the legal profession gets a black eye from over aggressive trial lawyers. However, a good lawyer when you need one, is a blessing. I sure got a good lawyer too when I hired Leslie. Her professionalism and genuine concern for my well being gave much needed comfort at a time when I needed it most. In the end, my legal situation ended better than I ever expected. I give Leslie all the credit and I am grateful for her.
