These attorney's can be bought! My 20 year old with no prior criminal history got 35 years in prison for a murder he did not commit with absolutely no evidence! -Michael won his preliminary hearing. -Judged granted 75k bond request. -David and Michael tried to withdraw eve of trial, which judge denied. -They failed to look through the 1000's of pages of the discovery which could have set my son free. BE CAREFUL if you hire these attorney's! If you don't go along with them and the "nice prosecutors" as they told my son, you will be CONVICTED! They told us my son was 20 YEARS old and could handle his own.They would not allow us in their office after they tried to withdraw from case. I got many mean demanding emails telling my son he needed to come to their office ALONE or he was going to get 30 years in prison. They told him to plan to stay every Saturday all day (9-4) to prepare for trial. My son was afraid and told them he wanted us to come, they said NO, so my son never went. He got 35 years, a little more than what the DEMANDING EMAILS said!

He was very responsive to our immediate needs with representation which helped to cool-down a situation we were heading into. Mr. West, Dupont & West Defense Team I wanted to take this time to provide a review for you and all of your future clients. I believe the representation that you have provided for my family and I is disgraceful to me as well as your profession. We came to you very distraught as you knew this was the first time that any of us have been trouble. You sat on our case for as long as you could by doing nothing, wasting time and money. Then sent the most unprofessional lawyer you could by sending Michael Dupont to our case. That looks like a very serious alcoholic and unable to shower before court, or remember what he told clients, the last time he seen his clients. The hearings that you say you represented us in, those were calendar calls of which your team was never prepared for, which cause 2 years of delays. The prosecutor delayed our case once, all others were you and your team. This is not to mention the times that spent calling your office and the DA’s office to get the appropriate court dates and times due to you and your team not corresponding with us appropriately. We have had a lack of communication with you and your team that included unanswered phone calls and email correspondences that received no reply from you and your team. Most, if not all of the information relayed to us in our consultation meetings was not done on your part. The main and simplest being that you did not meet with the DA in person to represent myself or my family as you stated and as we asked. This is one of the main reasons we went with you and you didn't find the time in your schedule for 2 plus years to do this. You did absolutely nothing to represent myself or my family as we asked or as you said you would. You did nothing to fight for me or my family rights. I also find it VERY hard to believe that you and your team spent time reviewing all the discovery, recordings, and photos considering you never retrieved all the information/evidence. I think a public defender or myself, could have gotten the deal you negotiated, based on none of us had any prior records. If you believe you gave your best representation sitting on the phone with the prosecutor for hours, negotiating or begging them for the best deal, then so be it. However, what you should have done is “pull out the claws” that you had mentioned in our consultation meeting, met the prosecutor in person with a valid defense, and discussed it like you said you were. BOTTOM LINE is you and your team failed to represent us as you said you would. Therefore, our contract was terminated with you and your team. In addition, the reviews that I am submitting are not unfair at all, they are the truth on how you and your team represented my family and I in our case. I must live with many regrets with the main one was trusting you and for me not firing you and your team a year ago. Me and my family were in no hurry to plea to something that was not true, nor a deal that you thought was so great. We were in a hurry and anxious for you to do your job. My family and I wanted you to represent the way you said you would during now what we know was nothing more than a sales pitch. I will apologize on behalf of my family for wasting courts & DA time and money on incompetent lawyers. We have obtained other representation by a competent lawyer. You should have done what you said you were going to do… Please keep eye out for all the reviews that you and Michael will be receiving on all websites!!! Aaron

Lengthy, but 100% worth the read....(skip to the last line if you would like the outcome) My boyfriend and I got arrested in Monroe County, GA New Years Eve weekend of 2017, and were charged with 6 felony possession drug charges. We were driving from our home out of state to a wedding in Florida and got pulled over for speeding the morning of December 29, where we were immediately searched. After 2 days in jail, we made the 13 hour drive home and started calling lawyers immediately. Picking a lawyer was scary. We knew we would have to hire one based off of a phone conversation, and not after a face to face meeting. After speaking with about 20 lawyers in Georgia, we decided on David, but didn't hire him immediately, as we were waiting to be summoned. We waited about a year before being summoned and reached out to David West for immediate representation. Our arraignment was scheduled for today at the Monroe County Superior Court. My boyfriend and I received a call from David the day we were supposed to fly down to Atlanta, telling us to cancel our flights, and reschedule them for court in February. He had worked out a plea deal. What was the deal? Fly down for court in February and pay a $500 court fee for myself, $1,000 for my boyfriend, and we were free to go. NO PROBATION. NO SUPERVISION. NO JAIL TIME. OUR RECORDS WOULD BE WIPED BLANK. If you are battling ANY criminal charges in the state of Georgia, I would 1000% recommend David West! If I could give him more than 5 stars, I absolutely, without hesitation would!

My brother had an incident that required representation. Mr. West came highly recommended by some people in my career field. I am glad I listened to them because he presented an excellent case. Communication with mr David West wasn’t very adequate with me. Our conversation wasn’t fair . Never answered my letters I would email him he would take the longest to get back I could not get in touch with him , only with his assistant that could only tell me he’ll call back , when he wouldn’t He told me due to the person I am , and where I was positioned that I could only go a certain direction. I thought wasn’t fair

David came very highly recommended so I hired him to handle an unfortunate legal situation I found myself in. He is extremely professional and has no problem establishing a rapport with other attorneys and judges. My case is not over yet and I will surely update my review when it is, but I remain confident that I have the best possible representation for my case.
