My case was handled professionally and in a very timely manner. Nothing was drawn out. Mr. West was busy with a major case so I had the pleasure of working with his associate, Rebecca Dickinson. She was great! I felt well represented in the court room and we walked away with victory! I highly recommend this firm. Every person, from the person who answers the phone all the way to Mr. West, is amazing!

I have mostly good things to say about the firm. Staff and Attorneys are EXTREMELY nice. I hired Mr. West for a situation I got myself into. I have never been in trouble with the law EVER so it was a pretty simple case. There were some concerns that I did have throughout the duration of my case. My first concern was I literally spoke to the leading attorney, Mr. West only ONE time throughout this whole ordeal (that one time was to hire the firm). Since communication lacked, it did cause a lot more stress than what I was already dealing with personally. I called the firm back in January or December to update them with my new contact information (at the time they had a new receptionist). Of course, the new contact information was never updated until a WEEK before my hearing. Unacceptable! Because the hearing I did not show up to mistakenly, I never had the chance to speak to the attorney to find out what happened in court. I had to call and follow up maybe a day or two after the hearing and the paralegal relayed everything to me that the courts were waiting on discovery and the hearing would be pushed back to a later date. Another issue, I had been very proactive on trying to make sure all my ducks were in a row bc I've never been in legal trouble. I left a message for Mr. West regarding an Anger Management Evaluation months prior to the hearing. It just so happened, I was in contact with another Attorney (who was once a former Judge) who initially told me to get the Evaluation done back in January or February. When I confirmed that information with Mr. West and staff, they told me the Evaluation was not necessary. Two weeks prior to my Final Hearing, I receive an email from the firm stating I need to have the Evaluation done. Huh? Just a few months ago, the attorney said it wasn't necessary. Fast forward to the MORNING of my hearing, I received a call from Esq. Dickinson who stated she would be present to represent me. It left me a little confused because I had no idea who she was (although she turned out to be extremely professional and sweet). All in all, I would recommend this firm however I would like to share just a few suggestions to David West & Assoc. based off my experience as a client. I actually work for a Family and Criminal Law Firm and part of our protocol if another attorney within the firm takes over an existing case, IT'S REQUIRED THAT THEY CALL AND INTRODUCE THEMSELVES TO THE CLIENT. I would also recommend having a strategy meeting with the client, a day or two prior to the actual hearing so everyone knows what's expected and all parties are on the same page. Something that could possibly take no more than 30 minutes. I went to court not knowing what to expect because, again, I hadn't been in communication with any of the attorneys since I hired them. For my situation, we were not all on the same page. I had no idea the Prosecutors were even recommending probation or anything until I requested a copy of my file for the Anger Management Evaluation. All in all, If it hadn't been for me explaining that my child's father(which was the basis of my case) was arrested just a week prior for child abandonment, the initial charges would have never been dropped down to a lesser charge. As a result, I am grateful for Ms. Dickinson for representing me in court. She was very attentive, professional, and the Judge seemed to like her a lot. Mr. West does have a great staff. Outside of just a few blurred lines, I would recommend. Thanks for everything.

Mr. West and Ms. Dickinson, along with all of the office staff, were extremely helpful while representing me in my case. when i hired David to take my cases my future wasnt looking to bright according to the other lawyer i had hired. so i called david and told him my situation and i liked what he said. he told me that he would not sell me out and he would fight for my rights. and that my rights had been violated. David took my case and won both trials in two different counties. David is a awesome attorney. in my opinion the best. so if you dont want to get sold out hire david hes the man.

Paid him 3k and he did absolutely nothing for me. He asked for more money to go to trail when all I wanted him to do was get my charges reduced. I was able to get them reduced on my own without him. He was also discouraging and abrasive. He only wants money. Please seek help somewhere else.
