I love Marlys, she is very professional and caring as well. She has the ability to see the facts and keep you focus. She will go to court and state supported facts instead of using bluffing techniques as other attorney's use, at the end of the day, when the truth comes to light, honesty and integrity is all that matters. The truth will take you far. Sometimes things don't go 100% as wished, but it wouldn't be lack of interest on her behalf. Many factors contribute to results. Marlys and her staff are very loving and caring people. I recommend 200%.

The most important thing in the world to me is my children's safety and wellbeing. My case would be a sensitive subject for any parent; Bergstrom & Associates realize that and are just as dedicated to protecting my child. I was worried that I wouldn't find the right representation. I have too many things going on to be stuck with a jerk for an attorney. Many of the lawyers I had spoken with while searching for representation seem so rude, or gave me the impression that I would simply be just another case for them. After speaking with Marlys I knew that wouldn't be so, and it hasn't been. She's not out just to make a buck, she gets very involved in what's best for her client. Marlys and all members of her firm display the highest level of professionalism and compassion. I view lawyer's differently now. Do to the nature of my case custody, child support, and visitation, plus underlining issues, my emotions would get to me. There were times when I've cried in Marlys presence ,over the phone, or via email and was always met with a hug, and a calming reassuring conversation. Even during conferences when she would see the emotions coming to the surface she would simply touch my hand. A way of saying "don't cry it's okay". I'm not even a crier, but I'm super sensitive when it comes to my children. As all parents should be. I have to be strong for my children and can't break down in front of them, and I don't. Marlys understands that and is strong for me during our conversations. This is the first time that I have ever dealt with the law/court system outside of a speeding ticket and I'm at ease knowing my team(Bergstrom & Associates) are on top of everything. She's knowledgeable and direct. I've told her what was going on,she knows what I want, and what I'm willing to give. There was a time I had to leave negotiations and Marlys was entrusted to makes decisions on my behalf. Negotiations went as we discussed and ended on a good note ,thanks to Marlys. I can't express my appreciation enough for all she has done for me and my family. I thank the lord that Marlys is fighting for me. Marlys is my second divorce lawyer after I had a bad experience with my first one in the middle of my proceedings. I made the switch to Bergstrom & Associates because of two main reasons. First is their commitment to client dedication. I was impressed with Marlys and her willingness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines. I can't count how many times she has had after hours meetings and phone calls with me just to accommodate my busy work schedule. Her reasonably priced rates for not only herself, but staff as well were also a welcomed change. My previous lawyer had chewed through an initial retainer fee like a bag of chips during the Super Bowl. I had no choice but to find a lawyer that I could afford to go the distance with, especially just to make sure that I was not taken advantage of by a very corrupt and malicious opposing counsel. Second, I do want to mention that her professionalism and knowledge on any topic regarding divorce I brought up was answered. That is the kind of lawyer you want on your side to represent you during a divorce. I am happy that I found Marlys and you will be too.
