Custody battles are never easy but Suzanne made this hard time as smooth as possible. She was straight forward, honest, knowledgable, attentive and helped bring us to the easiest and fastest close to our matter as possible. Even while out on maternity leave attending to her new precious bundle she ALWAYS returned emails, calls and made sure our questions were answered. We consider ourselves lucky to have been recommended to such a wonderful firm and would recommened them in a heartbeat. It was such a pleasure to have to go through such a hard time with someone who makes you feel confident and comfortiable and we really apprecaited that.

Suzanne is a partner with Damon Bivek. She started my defense in my divorce case but took maternity leave about 6 months into the case. I then made a smooth transition to her partner to conclude the divorce action. Much of this was because Suzanne had a very thorough and complete file on the case. During that time she did an outstanding job in representation, filing the motions and discovery documents required. She also worked well with opposing counsel during several hearings and a mediation session. I was very comfortable with her style and how she handled my defense and I would highly recommend her.

Although my divorce was uncontested, it was important that events occurred in a specific sequence in order to minimize my exposure to additional complications. When I contacted Suzanne, I was about to be off track and she explained what to do when, and what not to do. Any questions were promptly answered. Some very critical events and negotiations overlapped the Christmas and New Years holiday but Suzanne kept things moving even while on vacation and out of town. She used flexibility and creativity to keep the process moving and avoid missing critical end of year deadlines. I was very impressed with her knowledge and responsiveness and felt comfortable that she was really looking after my best interest. She is now at the top of my list when I next need a family law attorney and I will definitely recommend her to others.

Attorney offices can be an incredibly intimidating place, with all of those thick law books and serious lawyers in fresh dry cleaned suits. Not with Suzanne. This was the first time that I had to hire an attorney to help me with a prenuptial agreement. From the moment she introduced herself, I felt immediately at ease. During this process, she was more like a friend, coaching me with talking points and ensuring that I was “OK” with what was going on. Suzanne was the lawyer in charge of my custody case. She was very knowledgeable of every aspect of my case. She kept me informed as well as communicated demands to my daughter's father's lawyer to the point that we avoided mediation and saved lots of money by not having to go through the court. We were able to come to an agreement without having to drag it out in court. I was very pleased with the outcome of my case, and my daughter's father is now paying the child support that he had avoided paying for 2 previous years.
