On the evening on Monday 26th August 2019, I was involved in a nasty road accident. An SUV travelling at a high speed in wet conditions jumped a red light and t-boned me on my car’s driver’s front side. If I hadn’t seen the SUV and slammed my brakes, it would have slammed right into my door and I wouldn’t be typing this message now. Even though I was bleeding all over my hand, luckily I wasn’t otherwise badly hurt – or so I thought. I had a nurse friend come pick me, dress up my bleeding, and drop me home. The next morning, on the 27th, my manager insisted that I needed to go to the hospital for a full check-up, and I also needed to speak to a lawyer. He then recommended Jones & Swanson (J&S) to me. I called J&S that same morning, and by 12 noon I was seated in their offices getting advice on how to proceed. That was the day I met Stephanie Allmon, the paralegal who handled my case. Stephanie immediately advised me to schedule a visit to the hospital for a total check-up, including x-rays. The check-up showed that I had major internal bruising, especially on my hip. Clearly, I had more injuries than I originally thought, and by this time the pain and discomfort was becoming intense. Stephanie then scheduled an appointment with a pain doctor, who then scheduled an MRI for me, which revealed a severely contused hip. She also scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor for me, so I could get adjusted. At the same time, she worked tirelessly with the insurance company, which was really tough because the driver of the SUV wasn’t insured. Stephanie kept checking on me via regular phone calls and e-mail updates. About 6 months later, my hip pains came back, and she again rescheduled me to go visit the pain doctor and get further MRIs, which showed some previously undiagnosed injury. Throughout the entire medical journey, I never had to go out of pocket even once! Stephanie finally got a great settlement, which we agreed upon. I am in a much better place right now health-wise. J&S are an amazing company. I have already referred a friend who was also in an accident to Stephanie, and he tells me that she is taking amazing care of him and his case. All I can say is that Stephanie is a Godsend. If you’re ever unfortunate enough to be in a situation where you need a personal injury lawyer, I strongly suggest you use J&S. I highly recommend Mr Swanson when looking for a lawyer. I went in not knowing much about the process and whether or not I needed a lawyer.
