Hands down the worst experience I have had with a closing attorney in Georgia. We do transactions all over the state and have never experience a firm with such little effort to help the clients they work with. Two separate cases where we were about to close on a property and the day of closing the attorney had not reviewed the documents and call off the closing once all parties arrived. one party drove an hour and half for the closing. If I could give them Zero stars I would

Grant McBride with Smith, Welch, Webb, and White, was really great to work with. In a stressful and time-sensitive situation, he was helpful and responsive and dealt with the situation candidly and directly, resolving a contractor dispute in a week that had been ongoing for months.

This law firm is undoubtedly the BEST the South has to offer. From the initial consultation over the phone to the first visit you will feel the care and concern they have for you and tour situation. Even the second floor receptionist is war and thoughtful which helps in stressful times. The attorneys are extremely thorough and keep you up to speed on your case. I would definitely recommend this firm.

For our first need for a legal representation we lucked out and chose Smith, Welch, Webb & White because we drove by their McDonough offices on a daily basis.
Warren Tillery and the rest of the SWW&W Team greeted us with a high level of professionalism and empathy followed up with excellent legal knowledge, counsel and commitment throughout the process to resolve our dispute with a third party (HOA / Easement issue)
We have already started pursuing other legal matters with SWW&W for other "life things" that we need legal counsel on (wills, etc.) ... and know we know we are in good hands.
Smith, Welch, Webb & White will be our first stop for at legal counsel needs in the future.

This is my honest review, as it relates to our case. As a non-profit entity we hired a local marketing company in 2018 and paid an individual $7,000 for products that we either A) received partial items (40% out of 100%) B) did not receive at all. This particular man promised: 1) a gala where we would gross $100,000 2) community block grant for $50,000 3) a radio interview 4) tv commercial 5) photo shoot 6) article spread, etc. The numbers sounded great to us, as we are still trying to get our name out there in the community. On October 5, 2018 something told me not to pay him the additional $2,000 and I went against my gut feeling, especially when he hadn't even completed the other listed items. Lets fast forward to 2019, we hired the law firm to assist us with retrieving our much needed funds. After going through the back and forth with his local attorney, the attorney's thought that it was best to proceed with a settlement. Within this settlement he had to provide us with the promised products that we never received and money in lieu of certain items. The settlement was filed in the magistrate court on 9/18/2020. Needless to say, he didn't adhere to the 10 items listed within the settlement and he was supposed to make monthly payments of $300 towards his $5,000 judgement starting July 15, 2019. As for item 1: our 100 cd's which we should have received in 30 days of the court order, we just received those 9/29/2020. 2) mp4 formatted video 3) $250 credit for our website and lead generation ( We had to hire another company to do this.) 4) our webinar videos and he wanted to reshoot them to make them look better, no thank you.5) copy of the article spread (we received that months later) 6) radio station commercial (we never received this and then we would have had to pay someone for the commercial when this was included in the initial payment) 7) professional photos (I did not want to use his wife and decided to let this one go as well) 8) provide the content development with webinar series (guess what? we didn't receive this either) 9) $250 credit for the build content (yet to receive this) 10) Defendant shall pay directly to the Plaintiff the sum of $5,000 to be paid in monthly payments of $300 per month. (As you guessed it, this definitely hasn't happened).
Here is my problem and maybe we didn't truly understand the full scope of a settlement agreement but we would have we would have never agreed to this or hiring an attorney IF we would have known that we would still be asking for our money 2 years later to date with him and 1 year to date with the Attorney. Also knowing that the settlement agreement did not guarantee us receiving our money. I followed up with our attorney on 9/18/2020 to express my concerns about this case. We decided to proceed with the breach of agreement ($10,000) effective on 10/1/2020 which would have included the money that we had to spend on an attorney ($6749.99 to date) just to get our money back and the money that he has yet to pay. He threatened to file bankruptcy so that he did not have to pay us and if he would have we would have lost a total of $11,749.99 if the judge allowed him to write it off during bankruptcy court. On October 1, 2020 we decided not to proceed with moving forward with the breach of agreement, at this time this is very mentally and physically exhausting and it seemed like we couldn't and didn't receive the money nor help in resolving this case.
This man A.M. w/ RMS, LLC has threatened me verbally on the phone with my husband and then followed up with an email stating the conversation he had with my "husband", slandered my name and the business name via email and still has yet to pay. To date he has made a total of 4 payments and I guess that we are to consider everything else as a donation to both parties. At the end of the day, this is our first lawsuit and it was NOT worth it at all. We learned a valuable lesson when it comes to dealing with people in the community and to always have everything in writing.
