Marriage is hard. Divorce is even harder. I was married for 7 years. It was suppose to be forever, and my world came crashing down. A friend recommended Marcy Hanks and her team as my lawyer. During the consultation, I was so nervous. Nervous to tell her the things that should only stay intimate within a marriage. She assured me that I could tell her everything and that she was there to support me. They always say that the only one’s that win in a divorce are the lawyers. I disagree with this statement whole heartedly. One point during the divorce Marcy called me, not as my lawyer but as a Christian friend, she had been reading messages that my spouse and I were sending each other back and forth. Unfortunately, I have been in several litigations with my son's father since 2001.
