Family Matters Law provided an excellent experience during a difficult time. Attorney Aaron was amazing, providing expert and honest advice throughout my custody case. As a mother I simply wanted to best for my son and she ensured that outcome for my son, he now has the power to have his voice heard, in addition I am receiving double the support financially. I'm grateful that I found her and her team through Google.

I hired Family Matters Law Group for my divorce case. I had read alot of reviews about Attorney Aaron and wanted her to represent me, but I was assigned to Attorney Shaugnassy Williams-Bryant. At first I was unsure because I was so sure of who I wanted BUT WHEN I TELL YOU, Attorney Williams-Bryant was the TRUTH in my case and in court!! She was so knowledgeable, she answered all of my questions and she was open and honest. Everybody at the law firm was very familiar with my case, including Attorney Aaron and one of the other attorneys, even though they weren't directly on my case. Everyone was so kind and relatable. In a time of need, I really felt like they were family. Thank you so much Attorney Williams-Bryant for getting me custody of my son and more than half of some of the assets we had. I highly recommend this firm and Attorney Williams-Bryant.

Where do I start? As everyone knows, its very hard for any father to get full custody of their child. We were on a 3 week time crunch to get an emergency custody order for my daughter. With me living in Colorado, it was crucial for me to find someone who was going to go to bat for me in a timely fashion. Even with a two hour time difference, Attorney Aaron and her team made sure to cater to my time schedule and needs. They were the up most professional, super detailed and the sense of urgency was impeccable. Before I knew it, they had the judge sign off on the emergency order and we were in court within the next two weeks. When Family Matters showed up to court, they SHOWED UP! Not only did attorney Aaron show up, but also two other staff members from the firm. This allowed my daughter to be taken care of, and out of the chaos during court, while showing a professional intimidation factor. As long as you're honest and transparent with the Family Matters, they will do anything and everything to get what is deserving for you and your family. My daughter and I cannot thank them enough for their sense of urgency and their true dedication to their clients. The price point was fair and worth every penny. Our family thanks you all!

I decided to cut ties with FMLG in the middle of my case due to their lack of business acumen. Five months into accepting my case and thousands of dollars later I had no results. Along With no legal direction or projected continued date. You could pay for law school and get your own J.D with the time and money you will waste with FMLG. Unfortunately, the owner Edididong Aaron is rude and condescending so she makes the other employees look bad. They will close your file, refuse access to things you paid for, and attempt to keep your remaining escrow funds. The one star reviews are truly a beware. *** Notice she’ll spend more time responding to honest reviews as a cover up than time spent on your case. I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to. The response too is a fabricated lie. I hired this firm because I trusted the owner Att. Aaron after having my initial conversation with her.

I hired Family Matter Law Firm in Sept 2022. My ex-spouse and I called the same law firm at the same time but they took my case. My first thought was it was meant for me to retain the firm. After speaking with the intake person. I was told based on what she heard my case will range about $15,000. I thought that is a high retainer but at least I would have most of the retainer paid if we had to go to court and if I do not use all the retainer I would be reimbursed. They sent me an option to finance the $15,000 I thought then she was going to use all this money. I did not finance the retainer. I asked that if I do not use the money will I get a refund. The secretary told me no and that I would use all the funds. She also stated your spouse called our firm but we took you. I was like WOW! I asked how can you say that and after questioning her she began to seem irritated. I said then this law firm is not good. My ex-spouse did a lot in violation of what I told he could not do after emailing Att. Aaron about my concerns about his behavior. She stated that she could file contempt but nothing will be enforced until after mediation. So, I chose not to file contempt due to the fees to file and this divorce was not worth additional charges. After seeing that we were not getting anywhere but charges were still happening. I ask my ex-spouse to go to Mediation. I have already spent over $7000.00 and have not even had mediation. I now have over $8000.00 left. We went to mediation for 8 hours and it was a waste to only agree with the Georgia law. Atty . Aaron did not call me before mediation to prepare me for what to expect. At the end of the mediation, I expressed my concern about her representation and she got a nasty attitude and did not communicate with me after that point. I received a copy of the mediation agreement and there were items we agreed to that had to be added that were missed by Attorney Aaron that I noted. The items were corrected. I now receive the final bill and I was sent an invoice to pay additional money. Let me remind you I had over $8000.00 before mediation and she milked every penny with overcharges. I was very angry because this is theft on every level. I have not seen a judge, file no complaints and she did not even prepare me for the mediation. This law firm has now taken $15,000 for very poor representation. I expressed my concerns and stated I will not pay another penny. She removed the additional charges. Every Attorney is good please do not allow an attorney to overcharge you. I do believe in billable hours with representation. She will definitely overcharge someone who feels they are the victim but in the end, the law is the law. If you are getting a divorce please remove your emotion and see the Attorney's for who they are and save you both some money. .Kathy Walker Response to Attorney below: This is example of a hit dog holler. Her response was very unprofessional because as a consumer who paid for a service I can have an opinion about how I felt about my service I paid $15,000 dollars. This Attorney went on to tell my about myself instead of taking accountability for her representation. I hope her response given you insight of the type of person she is before hiring her to represent you. The response was unbelievable from Attorney Aaron ( Lead Attorney) everything start with head.

I cannot express how much I appreciate Family Matters Law Group and especially Jephonne Roy! My revision of child support went so smooth and Jephonne was amazing! I would recommend her to anyone as she does not take lightly the importance of each case and is an amazing litigator! Totally worth every penny!

Edidiong Aaron is a God send! I am a women who shares a son with a man who lacks integrity. After he had gone through some life changes and found he wouldn't be able to have children with his spouse he decided to make every attempt to take our then 6year old son to live in his home and X me out of the picture. He created a web of lies that resulted in a TPO and he used TPO to get temporary custody. I fought relentlessly for my son back. There was no earthly reason why this should have been happening, but I believe everything has a spiritual implication, faith isn't really faith until its tested. I had been through 3 family law firms and they all seemed to get annihilated by opposing counsel. I was exhausted but in my exhaustion I remained Still enough to be lead to Family Matters Law Group. While in the waiting room of my dentist office I opened a magazine and Read an article on this women who practiced Family law and was doing great things in the Atlanta area. Days later while at work I overheard a coworker inquiry of a young lady's profession and ask for her business card, the card and the magazine read Edidiong Aaron. I called for a consultation and became a client. The staff is so personable, when I call in I never have to explain who I am and they always follow up when promised. I will never forget my Final court date, Aaron was extremely prepared, she cited case law that crippled opposing counsel. She objected appropriately when counsel attempted to lead her witness and had a rebuttal for every false accusation counsel tried to attach to me. I felt safe, and protected in that court room with her. She is very passionate about what she does! For the first time in 4 years my son is back in my home for more than just a visit and our family is complete again. Shes a little women but a GIANT in her field! Shes Comforting, Extremely knowledgeable and fought for me until quitting time. Characteristics of a Lion and a Lamb, she is truly a God send indeed! I couldn't be more pleased!
