I didn't know what to expect when I reached out to Shewmaker & Lewis LLC for a lawyer, but I knew I needed help. A work situation blew up out of proportion. I am glad my help came from Mrs. Lewis. Right away I could tell that she was the straight to business, no fluff kind of help that I needed. My case was complex and new for both sides of the situation. Mrs. Lewis took time to dive into the literature and my circumstances to build my side of the case in a way that was acknowledging to the opposing side but unapologetically illuminating of the facts and details to support my perspective and the foul play I was experiencing at work. She amplified my voice when I had to walk a fine line in a merky situation. We won my case by unanimous vote, completely shifting perspectives of the opposition, leading me to outcomes that support my professional development in the future. I worked with both Steve and Alexa on my divorce/custody case. It was a very difficult time for me, yet they made me feel at ease and very comfortable with the process. Rip off. WARNING DO NOT HIRE ALEXA LEWIS!!! Alexa Lewis was not prepared during court and did not fight to win my case. It was an open and shut case for a TPO (temporary protection order). She couldn’t even get my Attorney fees paid. She made all her money from me with $3500 retainer fee, and calling and emailing me. When I realized how much I was being charged I had to ask her not send any communication with me, which she ignored and I was still charged. This firm is not about helping you but about money! In the end I had to pay $6100) for my TPO and couldn’t even go back to my house. She sucked 🤦🏾‍♀️!! The worst Law Firm in Atlanta

Shewmaker is the best military/high income earner divorce lawyer in the state of Georgia. If you want retain your military pension and your 401k and not pay ailimony...he and his team will get it done. He is also outstanding in military cases with UMCJ against Jr JAGs...almost undefeated I believe. I have 24 years military service and 14 years in business world as a software engineering CEO. I highly endorse these folks
