The Penland Law Firm did an excellent job and he went above the call in a very complicated case.

I will very likely be sueing Penland for failure to represent. Walker county is corrupt, especially all of the ringgold lawyers. They are con-men if anything. I’m going to go through every possible Avenue to draw attention to this and the blatant closed door deals.

Unprofessional is the best way to describe Jermey’s character. He is not concerned about what is best for his clients. His only concerned is getting every penny out of them he can. DO NOT HIRE.

Rude! Disrespectful! Mr Jeremy Penland himself, (whom was not even my representing attorney) told me to my face, as he ( Swings open the door from back, slams his hands down on the counter and proceeds to shout at me) "That he did not care about my damn feelings. And that he will make sure he sends me a printout of all the services and to make sure that I get a bill. " I paid $1,500 cash for a divorce and my TPO and all this to get started for protection for my abusive husband who was in prison. Coming for my distraught and scared mother standing in their office crying. Stevie, the paralegal at the front desk, She had told me the day before that it hasn't been submitted. But when I went up there, she's done it now. This comes After numerous calls to Ms Romans, who was my attorney, and numerous emails and no responses. I went down to the office. That's when they proceeded to yell at me like I was an ignorant child! Mrs Romans didn't come out. I don't even know if she was there. But Mr Penland busted through that door to the lobby and screamed in my face. He told me he was not going to represent me anymore. I said that's fine. I just wanted them to withdraw and give me my money back because they did not their job, nothing has been done, and now I still have no divorce and no TPO or no contact order for my children and I. Ha, he told me that was $1,500 to file a few pieces of paper. This firm is a whole joke.

I am a retired Army veteran and my wife is a honorablly discharged veteran. Her ex which is a other than honorable discharged veteran who was released from service for physically hurting his wife is who he turned his back on us to please. He gave him and his attorney everything they asked for and refused to give us a copy of the paperwork till after it was filed, signed by a judge and had the opposing attorneys signature on it where Penland's should have been. Now GA has custody of all 3 children and not a single one lives in GA and he refuse to call her back when she still calls to this day on a regular basis to get him to make it right 2 years later.

Amber Roman is a very good lawyer. She listens and understands the importance of her clients and their needs. She will go above and beyond for her client's. You will receive the best representation when you hire her. One of the most important thing's to keep in mind is to be completely honest with her. Give her thing's to work with on your case and take her advice when it's given.

They did a very good job Handling a case for us. They care about their clients. But most importantly, get the job done as they say they're going to do for the win.
