Mr. Maillet is exactly as advertised. I got a DUI in Jan 2021. I have never been in trouble before, and I was extremely nervous about the entire situation and had no idea what to expect. I am also in a position that a DUI could take away a major portion of my livelihood so that even heightened my nervousness. He was able to get my DUI reduced to a reckless driving and my probation suspended upon completion of: DUI Risk Reduction Class (Fro-Sun, 20 hours, $360) MADD Victim Impact Panel (1.5 hours, $60) Clinical Evaluation (1.5 hours, $125) My fines were reduced to a total of 1164.00 after court fees and probation fees, and I was able to complete the terms of my probation before it even started. I'm glad that I decided to hire Mr. Maillet as my attorney. I felt extremely well-informed throughout the whole process, and I'm glad that he helped me out of a serious legal jam. Things happen, people mess up. If you are in a similar situation, don't hesitate. There is no reason to worry. I came to Attorney Maillet in desperate need of a lawyer for my DUI case because the original lawyer I wanted to hire said he was too busy to take on my case. Attorney Maillet accepted me without hesitation. He sat with me during our first consultantation, and discussed with me how DUI court works, how it goes, what I should expect and when, as well as possible outcomes for my case. Attorney Maillet never promised we would win, but he did promise to try his absolute hardest all while keeping my best interest(s) in mind. I will note that it was hard at times to get in contact with Attorney Maillet, but that's where his incredible legal assistant, Billie, came/comes in. Mr. Maillet was beyond helpful throughout my whole case. I was so nervous and worried and he kept me on my toes as far as communication but the day before court he made me aware that everything was going to be just fine and it was just that. He made sure everything went smoothly in court and got all my charges dropped. He is well known and very polite.
