Mr. Purvis is among the very best! He is a kind, compassionate, insightful, knowledgeable, and an overall amazing attorney. He listens intently and provides the best possible council for the case. Having consulted others, I was impressed by his ability to accurately understand my concerns, to explain the divorce process as it relates to my case, to be able to easily answer my questions and to alleviate my anxiety rather effortlessly. As compared to others, Mr. Purvis offers services that are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, at the time of my consult he was a bit above what I could afford otherwise I would have definitely hired his representation without a second thought. Highly recommended!

Most would think that my divorce was going to be quick and simple. The only thing my ex-husband and I had to argue over was our son. We had no assets together, so it should have been quick and painless. We were in for a rude awakening. My parents and I consulted with David based on his reviews and I am so glad that we hired him. My case was being fought in a county where my ex-husband's family had ties to most of the judges as well as the sheriff. They were considered "pillars in the community" and it caused many roadblocks. My ex-husband's first attorney unethically obtained an ex-parte order stripping my child away from me and giving my ex-husband temporary custody. This was just the start of my battles in a county that had many corrupt on-goings, but through all of this, David continuously took the high road (even when I didn't want to). David never forced me to make a decision that I wasn't comfortable with, but he made me see things in different lights, and I think that saved my case in a lot of ways. David was always professional, caring, responsive, and understanding of my situation and my feelings. He had to do a lot of extra work because of things that were done by other attorneys behind closed doors, and even when we felt like our backs were against the wall, David never stooped down to the other party's levels, even though I gave him plenty of ammunition. In the end, David and his professionalism prevailed and I am now successfully divorced and able to move forward with my son and work towards our futures and goals. None of this would be possible if not for David's help. I'm sure that my ex and I will have to go back to court at some point in time, and I don't dread it nearly as much knowing that David is in my corner.

I scheduled a free consult with three attorneys in one day. Mr. Purvis was my last attorney interview of the day and he blew the other attorneys out of the water! I was so impressed with his ability to understand my case without me having to point the details out to him. He saw the big picture when other attorneys did not. I could tell that he has handled many divorce cases. I would love to hire him, however the retainer is a tad out of my reach. The retainer is reasonably priced, it is just that my case is not that complex and I am really hoping to settle out of court. If I had the money available I would most definitely hire Mr. Purvis! I am still hoping to raise the money to have him represent me. By hiring him my mind would be at ease because I just know he would go after what I wanted, with the best interest in mind for my child and myself. In the future I will seek David Purvis for any legal matter if needed. Highly recommended.

David was personable at a time when my daughter and I were in dire need for his guidance and services. In 2013, my ex husband filed a false court order abruptly keeping my child in Georgia after Summer visitation. I was immediately referred to the Manely Firm, where I was assigned David Purvis. I can never properly express my gratitude to everyone at the Manely Firm, but mostly David, for the manner in which my case was handled. David and Michael Manely took me on in a very emotional state, explained how and why my ex husband filed the paperwork he did, and how they were going to correct it. Instead of engaging in dirty tactics with the opposing council, David took the high road throughout the entire course of our case. He made sure the judge heard only the facts and as a result I now, once again, have primary custody of my child. He was also recently able to help recover a portion of my attorney's fees. Not only was David easily accessible, engaged, professional and thorough during the course of our case, he was also extremely compassionate and understanding. I could not imagine having another attorney or firm represent us, ever.

David represented me in a case whereby my ex wife was seeking to move my children 5hrs away - which would have affected my critical weekday visitation. David won my case. But HOW he won it is worth mentioning. While the opposing attorney relied on the time-worn tactics of 'muddying the waters," defaming me, and generally throwing stones to see which landed, David stuck to the facts, cited precedent and handled himself with superb professionalism with the court and witnesses. As others have mentioned, David's personal qualities are also to be admired; genuinely kind natured and concerned about the real lives affected by the outcome of the case. Winning these cases can be difficult for men even when the facts are on their side. I am extremely grateful (as are my kids) to have found such a quality person and talented attorney to represent me.

I filled for a no fault divorce and attorney Purvis was not only very affordable in his fees but also timely in responding back to any questions I had for him. He even went as far as to help get me the document to transfer the deed to my rental property into my ex-wife's name. I am glad I found a way to hire a lawyer without paying a fortune in fees. Mr. Purvis is a very understanding person, not just your average lawyer. He kept me informed throughout the entire process,and answered every question with a very thorough answer. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a very positive rating for Mr. Purvis. Although the divorce case between my spouse and I should have been very straight forward/simplistic (ie: no children or custody issues), there were times that my spouse became quite irrational and caused our case to move from uncontested to contested. Mr Purvis' experience and knowlegde assured me this was not only unfortunate and unnecessary, but was confident it could still be pursued as uncontested divorce. Mr Purvis immediately began discussing the case with my spouses attorney. As a result, Mr Purvis' ability to ultimately reverse our case to an uncontested status and achieve an agreeable settlement was successful. Mr. Purvis could have proceeded down a very lengthy and costly road given the circumstances. However, he put my best interests first and represented me very well with a harmonious outcome. Even with the unnecessary circumstances that surrounded my divorce case as a result of an irrational spouse, the cost to me was minimal and was charged based only on what was ultimately required. Mr Purvis responded very quickly to all of my email correspondence and helped me maintain a positive focus of the endstate. I was assured from the beginning this would be handled to my satisfaction and can attest to the fact Mr Purvis will put all his future clients best interests first. I want to thank Mr Purvis and his staff for helping me and will be sure to recommend him/the firm to other's that may need quality litigation or just advice regarding divorce proceedings. Mr. Purvis was always very helpful and honest when it came to dealing with my case. He never tried to drag out or extend the process to try to get more money out of me. He was always able to answer all my questions quickly and would work with my schedule to meet to discuss any matters to hand. My divorce was settle in approximately three months and having David represent me made the process that much easier.
