I hired Johnathan for my case. He was absolutely amazing with the services he provided. He communicated and kept me updated throughout the process and gave me a head start with all that will need for court dates . Jonathan listened to what my problems were and explained what he was going to do to help me. He kept me informed about everything that was going on. He explained what was going to happen. Jonathan Dunn was very instrumental in my defense case. There is no other defense attorney that I would recommend after dealing with Jonathan. I was facing two misdemeanor charges and with Jonathan's help, defeated both towards dismissal in a county where dismissals are rarely encountered.

I was referred to Jonathan by a family member, and may I say, the services he provided me for my traffic incident was beyond what I could have expected. Hired Jonathan Dunn for a custody case. When I hired him, I asked what the billable rate for his paralegal would be. He responded that his paralegal was a legal intern and typical paralegal work would not be billed. Not only did I not get paralegal rates but he had neither and billed at his rates for all work. Very simple stances and communication were missed repeatedly to the point that a large portion of my billing went to explaining things to him that we had already went over ad nauseum. All this would be fine if he did a good job but he didn't. He was disengaged. Not aware of the facts of the case when he needed to be. He didn't challenge a single thing that opposing counsel brought, he admitted they were wrong but was saving up for just the right time...to not challenge anything later either. Opposing counsel quickly noticed and outright bullied Mr. Dunn for the duration of the case to the point that another lawyer knowledgeable about the case said "surely it's because he doesn't have family law experience." Spoiler, he's been practicing for decades. I'll say, Jonathan seems like an intelligent guy. I believe he would have been *at least* more effective had he given this case a reasonable amount of care. But the results are the results. He didn't just miss the mark. He missed the whole side of the barn with his representation. Edit - To Jonathan's response, I wish he had been that compelling at any point in the case but it's still outright disingenuous. I settled the case with a bad outcome because it was clear that Jonathan was ineffective and this was no secret to Jonathan. For him to imply that I got the results I wanted is outright unethical. For background, the biggest issue for us in the case was me telling my son that it wasn't OK for his mother to PHYSICALLY ABUSE him or prevent him from talking to me. Could I have addressed it better? I'm sure...But this guy had physical abuse documented from no less than 4 credible sources and needed to overcome me telling my son that wasn't OK...and he still failed. I asked him about hours from the supposed intern multiple times and he never provided that there were any worked by them or even so much as confirmed that the intern helped whatsoever other than in response to this review even though I asked multiple times. Jonathan is a lawyer and couldn't even get through his paragraph response without multiple typos. That's reflective of the quality of the rest of his work.

I hired Dunn to represent me in my divorce. So far he has let them take everything that was mine (businesses, money and property). This has been going on for over one year ever I am 70 years old, homeless and living out of my car. DO NOT USE!!!

Jonathan isn’t just a lawyer for you when you hire him. He’s a counselor that will listen and advise while allowing you to express and guide for the defense that you want in your case. In criminal matters you sometimes hear, don’t hire a former prosecutor because they are just going to make you plead or not fight hard. With Jonathan this is most certainly not the case. He will look into every possible defense, every missed or overlooked aspect and view it from the prosecution perspective first to know how they will fight them counter with the best defense to win. And his success speaks for itself. He knows and argues points of law that even some Judges are left surprised because they are valid and successful legal arguments but so few lawyers know or use them. As a family attorney Jon will ask you what you think is the best outcome for your case and that is exactly what he will zealously fight for. He has a genuine personal care for his clients and compassion that is uncommon this day and age in law in many places. He took a very complex and involved case for me and after each turn he knew just what to do for the best outcome for me. I would choose Jon for any case that he handles within his field over any other attorney in Georgia.

Jonathan is relentless in his pursuit of winning our case. 2 1/2 years with CoA involvement. He knows the laws and how they work. He has sent me emails at 10pm still working on the case. Jonathan defines what a lawyer should be.

Jonathan and his team have given their utmost care and attentiveness to my case over the past few years. Jonathan and staff at Johnson, Kraeuter & Dunn, LLC supported and worked very hard during the 2 years it took to settle my divorce case. Jonathan knows the law and how the system works and uses it to his advantage. Jonathan has integrity and will fight hard to get the results you deserve.

After doing his "due diligence" he had his office manager make an appointment for me to come to his office. She took my money for a consultation and Dunn listened whilst my associates, and I, gave details, and presented evidence regarding my case. After a very lengthy meeting, Dunn said I had "a great case", gave me their "JKD" folder (with requisite paperwork inside) and showed me which form to complete. He also told me to return it along with the $5000.00. I followed his direction and when I tried to deliver the $5000.00 early the next morning, he was "not available". Finding this VERY strange I went directly to his office. Upon entering, he was coming out of his office and he looked like a deer caught in headlights. He told me, as his eyes shifted left to right, left to right, that he could not take my case as there was a "conflict of interest". I could not understand what this could possibly be, as he had already performed his "due diligence" weeks before before prior to allowing me to schedule an appointment. I asked what the "conflict of interest" was and was incredulous with his response. It was, "our new attorney, of counsel, is YOUR EX's ATTORNEY" !!!!!! I was in utter disbelief! He sat for hours listening to privileged case information knowing his new lawyer represented the other party in my case. This shocking, disgusting, deplorable and verifiable behavior is Jonathan Dunn. My suggestion is to AVOID JONATHAN DUNN AT ALL COSTS.
