I had an excellent experience with Burgess law firm . She was able to get my Son a bond when it was denied Prior for a serious charge . She also got him a bond without me having to pay anything to get him out . I am grateful to Burgess law firm . I highly recommend their services.

I found this lawyer on goggle. I was trying to custody of my child. I had an appointment with the lawyer on a Saturday morning in January 2020. We discuss my case. She told me it would take about two weeks to get the paperwork back to me. I was okay with that. She told me how much it was going to cost. Fine no problem. She told me it would be half to start and rest when she finished the paperwork. I agree to her arrangement. So about 6 weeks went by. I didn’t hear from her.Yes I understand she has other clients. Now it’s February no paperwork and I haven’t heard from her. I call the office get a voicemail. I get response two days later. She tells me that her staff is short and she has been in court...No problem!!!! So I asked about the the paperwork for my case. She tells that she will have someone from her office to send me the paperwork. The receive the the paperwork. It has my name , my ex girlfriend and someone else name that I didn’t know. I responded that to her that this is not correct. And I would like to file for full custody as well.. I did not hear back from the her office until 2 months later. When I call and ask about the case again. The person I spoke was very difficult to talk too. Every time I try to explain what I need done... they out talk me!!! So I ask for my money back.... they sent me 60% of my money back charged me $350 for paperwork with someone else name on it.Then sent me a letter with a my signature block... And someone else had signed it!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Thanks for nothing!!!!

PLEASE, if you are a man and filing for custody of your child, do not use her services. I filed my own paperwork with the courts, recorded conversations with the mother of my child, had text messages, school records and anything else you can think of and guess what happened? She gave me the run around for years. The first six months I called her often and she rarely returned my phone calls. She showed up 30 minutes late for court and after a fiasco she was supposed to schedule court ordered mediation for me and the mother of my child but that never happened. She stole $3,000 of my money and secretly withdrew from the case. With all the evidence I had it was a slam dunk. In my opinion she never had any intent on seeing the case through. Every time we spoke she was always asking for more money. Now I only get to see my daughter 4 days a months, I pay child support, and pretty much have no parental rights. This is after I filed for custody. My daughter has been with me since her mother was running the streets. Now my daughter is getting bad grades, getting suspended and all other types of trouble. I was referred to Ms. Burgess through a family member who is also an attorney. She is a bulldog in the courtroom and has real compassion for her clients! I was very satisfied with her services and her staff!

I hired Mrs.Burgess to represent me in a family law case and I must say she went above an beyond to make things happen for me. There were times I wanted to give up and if she had to put being my lawyer aside to minister to me , she did just that!
