Attorney Lewis is awesome!! My 18 yr old got a speeding ticket and she was able to reverse the plea by getting his license from being suspended. He needed a way to get to school and work. I hired Ms. Jackson in March to represent my son in a juvenile court case dated for April. Soon after hiring Ms. Jackson the courts closed due to COVID. for a few weeks at best. I heard from Ms. Jackson, once in May to inquire whether we received a new court date. I never heard from her again. At the end of August, I reached out to her to request a refund since we had no idea when and if the case would be heard, and she had been holding my money for 5 months. I explained that if we did go to court, I would be happy to rehire her. Ten minutes, later Ms. Jackson called me and stated she contacted the court and the case had been dismissed in April. The case was dismissed based on the court deciding it would not be in the childs’ best interest to move forward. Ms. Jackson did absolutely nothing to get to this resolve and feels that she is entitled to 100% of the $1500 retainer. It was pure happenstance that Ms. Jackson was on the case when it was dismissed. She knew nothing about the decision that took place 4 months ago and had nothing to do with the outcome. This is not someone you want to do business with!
