I have recommended Amy to quite a few people and they have all hired her. My case was fairly easy, well as easy as a divorce could be. She walked me through it and was fair to both sides. My sisters case was not easy at all and I saw a different side of her. I saw Amy fight for my sister and her children. She wasn’t backing down. She was thorough, kind, straight to the point and stern. I read some reviews about communication, I believe she is no different than any attorney. I’ve had a different one in the past for a car accident and he NEVER called or kept me updated. Amy Carter always communicates when she has information to share. Amy was incredible throughout the entire divorce process! Professional, knowledgeable, confident, prompt, easy to work with and communicable. I never once felt uneasy throughout the process, and in fact, she made my life a lot less stressful as I was obviously dreading it all. She kept me up to date on the case, as well as what to prepare for, be aware of and to expect through the divorce. Not to mention, she was always open to any and all questions I had concerning the case. She knows what’s best for her clients and is a fighter for them. She listened to everything I had to say! She is very well spoken and in a professional manner, which was apparent during the mediation process in which she laid out all the facts and stats to help settle my divorce in an amicable way. Amy was awesome. She listened, told me my best options, offered financial referral that aided in my financial outcome, was able to secure me more than 50%of assets in my case. I feel like Amy was there to really serve me and always had my best interest at heart through her knowledge of the laws and connections with the proceedings of the Gwinnett county court systems and how different judges worked. She did an outstanding job for me and I am very pleased. I would recommend her to anyone I know going through a divorce.

Amy was absolutely wonderful during my divorce! She listened to both parties equally and never made either of us feel like she was “taking sides” she mediated us professionally. She offered lots of advice since we had not done this before. I have also asked her questions outside the “meetings” and she never made me feel like I had to pay her “per hour” of advice.
