I retained Mr. Silvis' services in March 2023 to represent my aunt in a family matter. As I collaborated with Mr. Silvis over the following months, it became evident that he was the ideal attorney to oversee all our legal affairs. Subsequently, my husband and I engaged Mr. Silvis to draft our Wills, Power of Attorney, and Healthcare Directives. The geographical distance between Thomasville, GA, where Mr. Silvis practices, and our residence in Tampa, FL, was inconsequential. Our priority was securing top-notch assistance, and Mr. Silvis unquestionably fulfilled his promises exceptionally. Mr. Silvis really knows how to get things done. My family had a family member die without a will in the state of Florida. Mr. Silvis listened to our problem with a compassionate ear and guided us through the steps to resolve most of the problems associated with the estate and there were a lot of problems. He and his PA were quick to get things done and constantly kept us up to date on the work that was being done. Once Mr. Silvis had exhausted all he could do, he recommended an attorney in Florida and he even called him while we were there in the conference room to help us set things in motion to complete the estate work.

Mr. Silvis helped me during a difficult time. He was not only professional, he was also compassionate and made me feel like I was more than just another client. Our nonprofit needed to update its by-laws and I met with Doug Silvis to discuss. Wow! Having that kind of competence working in our behalf was refreshing. He explained the options and their benefits and proceeded to work for us. There is an old saying that 'what you don't know can hurt you.' Doug Silvis helped our organization to address SO MANY things in our by-laws that we would never, on our own, have known to address. I have since proudly referred him many times.
