I wanted to get a will done, so i went to them for estate planning. They were reasonably priced, very helpful answering all of my questions and guiding me when needed. They are very welcoming and friendly. I'm very happy that i chose them!

I don’t have a habit of writing reviews on people, but I am making it intentional to write a review on this law office. Honestly if I could give them less than one star, I absolutely would. First of all, they did absolutely nothing to help us when we were hit with a contempt case from my husbands ex wife dealing with my step daughter. We had taken a huge pay cut financially (mind you we were paying out close to $1500 a month for childcare and child support on one child just because she lived in Colorado). We tried to make an agreement with the ex since it was such a large pay cut, but she later came back and filed contempt after she agreed to what we were asking. Then the ex refused to allow us to have my step daughter for Christmas (which is contempt in itself). She also had other contempt issues going on at the same time. After presenting all this stuff to this attorney’s office, they basically told us to roll over and take the contempt case. So we had to pay her back for all the missed childcare payments plus paying her attorney fees even though she was also in contempt for multiple things. Next, we asked them to do a modification of the child support due to the change in pay. These people dragged their feet for a year to get the order changed. They kept asking for documentation which we provided and failed to do anything from that point forward. So when they were outside the window where the documents had to be updated, they would ask for them again. Further pushing off the time to get the order amended. All while they were doing this, they kept dwindling our retainer money to the point of a negative balance. My husband also updated our new address in their system over a year ago to which they were sending documents to said address. Now they are saying they had been sending documents to my parents address because it was the one they had on file. 🤦🏻‍♀️ They claimed that due to us not responding in a proper amount of time (which how can we do that if you are sending it to the wrong address when you were given the right one) now we had to pay them an extra $700 plus they withdrew as our attorneys. I will absolutely never recommend this law office to anyone because all they want is to not do their job and take the money you have given them. My husband and I both have worked public service jobs for years where we have had one on one interactions with attorneys. Never have I ever been so disappointed and disgusted to be associated with people like this that are supposed to support their clients and work for them. Please do not use this law group if you want to actually do what it right by yourself and your family.

I called seeking representation for a custody case. I was rudely told that I must call the state that I was divorced in. Part of what I needed was to bring my divorce decree to GA from another state, which is called a foreign order domestication. I did call the other state, they told me that the person who told me it was their problem was wrong. When I called back to relay the information so that I could set up a meeting with a lawyer, this person got rather rude and told me in a rather annoyed tone that domesticating a divorce decree was not going to happen, there was no way to do it. Of course this person was completely wrong, rude, and made me feel like I was a complete idiot. I went with a firm in Lawrenceville that were very good and treated me and my case with respect and care. I would never consider this firm again and I would never speak well of them if asked. I could only recommend that the people you allow to answer your phones be trained better, most people are calling on the worst day of their lives and are not well versed in the law, so maybe a bit of understanding and patience is in order.
