The case was finalized to our great satisfaction which included review and application of current case law, depositions, subpoenas, affifavits, and courtroom time. I can not thank Mr Hicks enough. He has made us very happy grandparents. He is down to earth, explains everything to you regarding what's going to happen or what he expects to happen in court. Cost----oh my goodness--- this alone has saved us so much. We had budgeted way up in the thousands of dollars and when we got the bill we were so overjoyed. Since we moved to Barrow County around 16 yrs ago and needed him in a similar case we decided right then we would never use another attorney again. Mr. Kyle Sharry and Bill Hicks are amazing! My case was far from easy, it was a long process, long nights, and the final hearing was almost 10 hours! The reason I reached out to them, was because my sons father wanted full custody of our son after being absent for a little over a year! They worked with me. They fought for me, they fought for my son...they weren’t taking any bull**** and WE WON!!!! I had never been through any legal matters in my lifetime so I was super intimidated about having to go to court, however; Mr. Hicks made me feel confident about the situation and he did an amazing job!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for legal advice!!!

Mr. Hicks is an awesome person first and a better lawyer second. I went to his office cause I was getting divorced. He had me sign some papers one of which stated a minimum fee of 500 dollars that would be kept from my retainer ,if I changed my mind, and the rest would be refunded. Me and my wife worked things out and I contacted Mr. Hicks. He told me that I signed the paperwork stating that there was a 500 dollar minimum fee for his time and filing and paperwork. I told him I understood and that was fine. When I got to his office he had my refund and he only took out 250 dollars. He said he was glad I worked things out and that I hadn’t done enough for him to take 500 dollars. Mr. Hicks is an extremely knowledgeable attorney and a great human being. Had I gone to court there is nobody I would rather have in my corner.
