I meet Mrs Austin through the legal assistance program, and at first I thought she was just another court appointed attorney. You know the ones where they are assigned too many cases and because your not able to afford their services they give you subpar results. Not in this case, Mrs Austin treated me with respect and understood that everyone that finds them self in a criminal situation is not a criminal. So she actually looked into my case and found out the truth and then assisted me in any and every way possible. She even went and gave me information on different resources that were available to me being a single parent and with limited resources. I would highly recommend Mrs Austin for legal representation.

My son's life was a mess with separation and divorce (still pending), but the good news is Laura helped him keep the custody of his precious daughters. Laura took the time to listen and hear my son's priorities and from there she started the "ball rolling" with her expertise. Don't know of many lawyers that work Saturdays, but my son needed her on a weekend and by cell phone, she was there assisting him through important decisions! Amazing!

I needed to file a Judicial Review Appeal in an Unemployment matter. I had no idea what to do. Ms. Austin first attempted to resolve the matter, but the parties were uninterested and uncooperative. Having been a Judge, Ms. Austin wrote an excellent Petition and backed it up with an extensive Brief and then argued the case in Superior Court against my former employer with the State represented by an Assistant Attorney General from the Law Department. Laura won the case for me in a case law setting decision which ends, "The Hearing Officer's determination MUST be reversed; the Employer's Appeal Dismissed as a Matter of Law; and the Claimant's Unemployment Benefits Restored as if Never Denied."

My experience with Ms Austin was one that was truly an answer to a prayer, the case was a Personal Injury case of a family member. She was compassionate, listened with heart and fought hard to make sure that Justice prevailed. We appreciate all she did for our loved one. I have had the experience of working with other Attorneys before and was very impressed with her dedication, knowledge and hard work ethic she really cares about her clients.
