After researching lawyers representing Social Security applicants on Oahu, I kept seeing really great reviews on Diane Haar. I called her 3 years into my social security case, and about a month before the hearing. I realized that I was in no condition to go to the hearing without a lawyer. Diane was very honest with what we were facing. Together, we got all of the information necessary to present to the ALJ. She listened to all of my concerns and helped calm my fears with facts and with logical information. Diane's professionalism in her office and in front of the ALJ was admirable and honorable. I recommend her, wholeheartedly, to anyone to help with their case.

I had begun My Social Security Disability process back in March 2015 with no avail; hence I sought out professional help… I write this recommendation for Diane Haar whole-heartedly. It was a total blessing when I was referred to Diane by a friend. After my stroke, I became disabled and couldn't even walk. After my SSA claim was denied several times, I felt hopeless and wanted to return to work even though I knew I couldn't. Diane brought me into her office and spent the time with me to get my SSA claim on track. I was also hesitant to take her advice to file a new claim, but I ended up trusting her and am so grateful I did. She believed in me and we ended up winning both claims. I thank Jesus for Diane. Diane Haar is an absolutely amazing attorney. She was there for me when no one else was. I was getting ready for my first social security hearing with a representative who had absolutely no interest in helping me. Right before my hearing I was sent a letter telling me that he was retiring and would not be there to represent me. When I went to the hearing alone the judge gave me some numbers and told me that by my next hearing to have representation. I struggled with this; I could not find anyone to help me. I went to the next hearing and before i was going to go in, the security asked me where my lawyer was. I explained to him that I was ready to give up and that the lawyers I called did not even bother to call me back. Diane Haar just happened to be sitting there waiting for her client to arrive and could not help but over hear our conversation. She told the security guard to let the judge know that Diane Haar will represent her. Within 15 minutes I had obtained a lawyer who started working on my case immediately. Don’t bother .. paid thousands and can’t get a phone call returned in 2 months now

After having my initial application for Social Security Disability Benefits denied and having the denial upheld on reconsideration, I began my search for an attorney to take my case. The first attorney I contacted declined to take my case (she indicated that she did not have much success with cases with my condition). The second attorney was non-committal. Then I found Diane and she took my case at our first meeting. Nearly 7 years ago I was diagnosed with a debilitating condition and unable to work. I struggled for over 3 years to become a contributing member of society again, but it became abundantly clear that I would not be able to return to work. Nearly 3-1/2 years ago I applied for Social Security Disability benefits and over a year later it was denied. I requested a reconsideration and it took over another year for the denial to be upheld. At that point I was at a lost and decided to retain the services of an attorney who has experience in the Social Security Disability process. The first 2 attorneys did not work out. I then found Diane and she took my case. I felt very comfortable with Diane and she kept me apprised of the progress of my case. She prepared my case file and represented me at my appeals hearing. It has been about 3 years and 3 months since my initial application, but I just received word from Diane that she just received the judge's fully favorable decision in my case! Wonderful!
