James Lewis is an amazing lawyer. If you hire him, you can rest easy in the sense that he will take care of your best interests, and not miss any details. He's personable, trustworthy, and gets the job done. I was more than glad I hired him to help me when I was arrested for a DUI. A year later my case was dismissed, because James stayed on top of every detail. He was also very helpful, nonjudgemental, & sensitive to any questions or concerns I had... I would highly recommend him for anyone going through a DUI.

I am so happy I made the decision to go with James! My case was definitely on the longer side, over a year and a half, but James hung in there with me and gave it his all until the very last minute! There were multiple times the state was ready to proceed and there was a good chance that a trial would have resulted in a conviction but James pulled out all the stops and was very strategic in his actions. In the end my case was dismissed with prejudice since the state was not able to resolve the case in a timely manner, and I will most likely be able to get the arrest expunged from my record. James was almost as excited as I was at our win! No lawyer can guarantee an outcome, there are many variables present each time you show up to the courtroom, but you can be sure that James will give it everything he has and you can have faith in his skill as a DUI lawyer. There's a reason he charges a little extra but its because there is a lot of hard work behind his consistent 5 star rating, and he is worth every penny!

ames B. Lewis did an incredible job on my case! The hardest part about my case were the results of the Field Sobriety Tests. The prosecutor was portraying the officer as a "professional" regarding his training in detecting impairment and recognizing DUI. James had the officer explain his training in great detail and turned that all around. The Judge said the court would not consider the officer as a professional in this area. When the officer explained the events of my arrest in great detail, James questioned him. He asked if I was being detained when he pulled me over, prior to me taking any field sobriety tests. The officer said "yes" in front of the judge. Since I had been pulled over for speeding, but not driving recklessly or erratically in any way, he had violated my 4th amendment right. James filed a motion to suppress and the judge granted it. Bam! My field sobriety tests could no longer be used in this case. He fought for me hard. Plenty of cheap over the counter lawyers could care less about your outcome. I will recommend James to any friends or family that find themselves in a similar situation.

I had a pretty hard to beat case which didn’t look so great for me, but James was really professional about and he knew it was gonna he no problem. He won the case with not guilty better than what I was expecting. Hire this guy if you want to win your case, he will do what ever it takes to win.

Late one evening while I was visiting my family in Hawaii this past Christmas, I had the misfortune of being pulled over at the speed trap right past Castle hospital and later was charged with a DUI. For me, the whole process of being put in handcuffs and charged as a criminal was an extremely stressful ordeal; not only in the moment, but also considering my future career prospects and how "having a record" impacted that. I reached out to James after seeing how highly reviewed he was as a defense attorney, and immediately I felt much better knowing that I had some options available. With his extensive experience in DUI defense, James was able to strategize with me on the specifics of my case, how we could get the charges dismissed, and what my chances were. For me, having someone knowledgeable explain the overall picture was invaluable - I didn't even know I had a chance to fight the case, seeing as I had agreed to both the field sobriety test and the breathalyzer, and the State had that evidence against me. James told me that he could get the breathalyzer evidence thrown out and argue on technical details of the field sobriety test for a possible not guilty verdict. And that's exactly what he did - successfully. I had never been to trial before, but let me tell you that it is a completely surreal experience to feel that weight lift off your shoulders when you hear the judge say to the room "I find the defendant - not guilty". I now have my license and my livelihood back, and am completely free of a criminal record. I would highly recommend James to anyone in need of a defense attorney.

James has helped me with a few legal issues. After getting arrested for an underage DUI, I was depressed and hopeless. Luckily I had a friend refer me to James and from there it was completely taken care of and stress-free -- case dismissed. It took over a year but James knows how to work the legal process to allow for the best possible outcome for his clients. Most recently, I was cited for driving without insurance and he was able to work it out so that the case was immediately dismissed on my initial court appearance - when does that ever happen? I can only thank him and his expertise for the positive results that came out of these traffic court nightmares.
