I hired Mr. Castillo to keep my son from being relocated to another state, and he did just that. Alfred was also able to get me sole physical custody for my son as well. He always answered my calls, text, emails promptly. Overall Alfred was much better than my original attorney that I hired when I first got divorced. I wish I would have hired him back then, things would’ve gone much better for me and my son. Alfred Castillo is an amazing attorney and I would recommend him to anyone.

No good. Disappointment. He should better retire. Paid $7500 not even one single trial he appeared.

I hired Al two years ago to assist with my divorce. Due to his incompetence and lack of professionalism we have yet to finalize. He is very unorganized and incompetent with regard to legal documents and basic email etiquette. For the safety of you and your family do NOT hire Al for any professional advice or services.

I called several times and he never returned my call

My son was arrested for family abuse while on vacation. Mr. Castillo was thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to talk to the witnesses and was able to have the matter dismissed. He answered my questions and was available throughout the process.

While visiting Kauai, a close family member of mine got into some potentially serious legal trouble. I retained Attorney Castillo to represent him and not only was he was released within a matter of hours, but his situation was fully resolved the very same day so that he was able to return home. I left Al a voice message after business hours on a Sunday and he returned my call early the next morning (a day when most attorneys were not even working because the following day was a holiday). Al cleared his schedule and met with me immediately to discuss the case and then accompanied my family member to court in the afternoon. By the time we met, Al had already taken a number of steps towards resolution that most attorneys would not have been able to achieve. Al is extremely familiar with the legal process and its players, and was impressively able to secure a highly favorable result for my family within merely a few hours. Al's knowledge, experience, and familiarity with the legal system on Kauai was invaluable. Additionally, he was professional, understanding, and courteous. As an attorney myself, I would highly and without hesitation recommend Al Castillo.

Al Castillo did an excellent job of preparing me and my case involving alleged family abuse which resulted in a quick acquittal.
