Watch the clock! They tried to charge me for paperwork that never got filed, and ignored or threatened to withdraw if I complained about their services at all.

i’ve never met a more unprofessional lawyers p I was completely dissatisfied with Michael Collins. Not only did they file things incorrectly after they did they wouldn’t admit to it then they missed a court hearing tried to explain it was a good thing. then made an out-of-court settlement that I did not agree on which is totally unprofessional and will be making a report to the board. getting a hold of Michael was incredibly difficult only one when there was an emergency and he wanted to reach me he would call and of course not put it in an email. They ended up paying my defendants $6000 from their own cash cause it there own incompetency and yet in the settlement says I agreed to pay my defendant .I never agreed to it and never saw that option flat out lies. There’s a constant turnover of help there it says some thing in itself

I hired Ben Herren to represent me on a completely fabricated domestic abuse case my ex girlfriend was trying to use to screw with my child custody case. After showing Ben the evidence that I, in fact was the victim of domestic abuse and not the other way around, Ben spent $4000 of my hard earned dollars to go round and round with the judge and DA and got absolutely no where except stuck in the exact same situation only $4000 lighter in the pocket. Maui courts are the absolute most corrupt I’ve come across ever in my life, serious reform is needed there. My advice, don’t waste your money on retaining an expensive attorney unless it’s Cosby level; represent yourself, find unbundled legal services, most importantly DONT WAVE TIME, that just gives the DA an unlimited budget AND an unlimited time clock to screw with your life. That being said; criminal/family law is a corrupt money grab and Ben Herren is NOT the guy to get it done at least not on the criminal side of things.

The epitome of everything people hate about attorneys. I especially had problems with Brianne, who told me she would take care of something and didn't, but didn't bother to inform me and then would not return my calls. Then blindsided me in a conference call with another attorney where she rudely informed me that she "changed her mind". Unbelievable unprofessionalism!!
