Don’t ever go to Melanie Baillie. She is the WORST lawyer. I went to her because of my divorce from my ex husband. She more than reassured me that this was a easy case because of all the evidence that I had brought to her. We went to court my ex husband’s lawyer was a parana she was like a mouse quivering in her chair not once through the nine months of going to court did she stand up for me when the other attorney was slandering my character slandering what evidence that I had. I did all the legal findings gave more than enough evidence to win this case. Melanie sat in her chair and did not represent me. The Judge had to CORRECT MELANIE ON THE CASE. Melanie didn’t even know what case she was Representing!!!!! She contacted me one time during that nine months to ask if I was going to be at court. I never knew if Melanie was going to show up for court or not. She would not have all of her stuff with her she would have to excuse yourself and go down to her car and get all of her stuff, was late to court. Then the final straw was that she without my consent preceded on a legal matter and charged me for it. Melanie is the absolute WORST lawyer that you could have.

These people are in it fir themselves. they have no interest in working for you or helpng you understand your case or the law.

Melanie is not only a good attorney, she's an attorney who really cares. I knew she cared about what I was going through and this along with her professional experience made my difficult situation the best it could be. I appreciated her insights into the pros and cons of all the decisions I needed to make. This allowed me to better understand the potential bigger pictures so I could make the best decisions possible. I highly recommend Melanie and her firm.

If you want justice go somewhere else, everyone one in here is a big fat joke, they lie steel and cheat, to and for good citizens they are only in it for the money inwhich idaho state Bar pays them in which our taxes pay them. Douglas pierce, is a joke james is a joke and their secretary are a waste of time......that's the only guaranteed they have to offer big waste of time

I would highly recommend James, Vernon & Weeks to my friends and family. The office staff are friendly and they follow through on their commitments. More specifically, I would reccomend Melanie Baillie. I had Melanie represent me in an auto accident that totaled my car and left me with chronic back and neck pain. I was usually able to reach Melanie quite quickly but if she was not available I got a prompt response once she was. She was through and concise and didn't hesitate re explaining things when I often times got overwhelmed or confused. I put my case in her hands and allowed her to call the shots, trusting she would do what was in my best interest. When things started to go awry and we were being strung along by the insurance company, she didn't waiver. As expected, we prevailed. She fought for me, and was honest with me about the possible outcome and risks. People say its hard to find an honest attorney, well, look no further. In the unfortunate case I need legal representation again, there is no doubt I will be calling Melanie at JVW.

When we couldn't find an attorney, Melanie took our case, worked extremely hard to find all the facts, pursued knowledgeable sources, and kept in pursuit of justice. Through negotiations, which lasted for 10 hours, she stood her ground along with Lee James, and we finally settled compensation. She held us up during crises. She gave great advice. I would highly recommend Melanie and the law firm for the most difficult cases regarding assault. Thank you all so much.

We had a very good experience with James, Vernon & Weeks. Wes Larsen handled our situation professionally and courteously throughout. He was always a pleasure to deal with. Responses to our questions were always timely and complete. Thanks to Wes and the staff at JVW we obtained an equitable settlement to our situation.

My wife got Monica Brennan to handle a custody case for us and she did a horrible job. We can never get in touch with her and we have seen one bill in almost 2 years. We keep calling so we can have a sit down to discuss our bill but she never calls us back. We informed her we will not give her any money until she talks with us. Very dissapointing and a complete waste of money we highly recommend do not hire Monica Brennan for anything she is nothing but a common crook full of broken promises.

Attorney Craig Vernon contacted me about a company he was representing. I called multiple times, and when I finally got ahold of him he was very rude, and unprofessional. He hung up on me. In my opinion the letter he sent us was unprofessional at best. I've never heard of an attorney hanging up on someone mid sentence and literally talking over them. I sincerely hope that you do your research before retaining any attorney, as previous, unrelated reviews seem to reflect accurately to the level of professionalism we experienced. An attorney represents you, do you really want someone who is going to hang up on someone trying to resolve the situation at hand? I surely don't.
